From the best one to the worst one it would be like: Dorian, Sera, Solas, Cole, Varric, Cassandra, Iron Bull, Blackwall, Vivienne.

Varric or Dorian. Cassandra comes in third with Vivienne getting an honorable mention. I intentionally avoided having much to do with Solas so far because I intend to play an elf mage just for him at some point. I have a strong feeling that will end up being my canon Inquisitor. I expect he will grow leaps and bounds on my list during the romance. My full list goes: Varric, Dorian, Cassandra, Solas, Vivienne, Cole, Iron Bull, Sera, Blackwall.

I think I have to give it to Cole. He was the companion I expected to like the least, because he didn't really do much for me when I read Asunder, but he's just so adorable I was completely won over. I also think his VA's performance is one of the best in the game.
Cassandra is probably my second favorite, but I fully expected to love her so it wasn't a surprise.
I love the whole crew, really, except maybe Sera and Vivienne. Sera I like but don't love, and Vivienne I don't feel like I really connected to. But then again I also haven't played a pro-Chantry character, or even one who was Andrastean at all. I feel like Vivienne might come off differently to that type of Inquisitor. They both have some great banters with the other companions though, I have to say.

Solas for his knowledge
Dorian for his charms
Sera for her funny quotes
Cassandra for her faith

I love Varric and Dorian. I can imagine life would never be boring with those two around. I liked all the characters really, except for Vivienne. I don't know, sometimes I even forgot she was there. I liked Blackwall A LOT before his secret was revealed, he said some insensitive things and I just detest liars in general. I don't hate him or anything, but that definitely changed my view of him. And Sera had a lot of potential to be an awesome character, but she could be downright cruel at times. I'll never forget when she laughed at Lavellan after her vallaslin was removed.

For my first female Trevelyan: Dorian
and Cassandra
And she couldn't even romance either of them. Ah, the pain of it. Her poor little broken heart.
Eventually she dragged both of them around with her everywhere. She simply HAD to. It was really that simple. I even found myself running her to see Dorian instead of her romanced Cullen during visits to Skyhold. *snickers* So yeah, there was obviously some un-requited love for her there. At least he became rather close as a friend so it didn't turn weirdly parasocial and further the tragedy.
Also, she became quite uncharacteristically motherly concerning Cole, so while not a "favorite" necessarily, still a great character!
Dorian and Cassandra really made their mark the first playthrough though, which I *finally* just finished. I will attempt to branch out next go at it, but I fear it will again be battle for third slot.

Dorian and Varric. They were also the only companions who seemed to like my character, and didn't leave her in the end... *ahem* So that was nice.
I also think Cassandra is awesome but she did get drunk and shout at me in my first play-through.
I don't think she'll ever approve of my life choices.

Just over 20 hours in and my favorite is.....DORIAN! Sigh.
But I like Cassandra a lot, too.
Me too. Love Dorian. And his VA... *sight* Feels kinda wierd being a female player doing a gay romance, but I am loving it.
And Cassandra... I love her more and more. I did not care about here...at all in the beginning, but she grew on me. Now she is one of my favorite.
And I like bull and Varric as well. And Solas.
But I liked Varric even better in DA2, only because his friendship with Hawke seemed more genuine and deep.
