Has has anyone been to the Grand Canyon. My parents are taking me there in a couple of months. Is it worth it?

I love mid-west USA. One day I shall travel them arid mountains and lands. I also like Monument Valley.

The Grand Canyon is very cool.

It's surreal - in one way, you look out and it looks exactly like it does in books and TV. In another, you can viscerally FEEL how high, wide and huge it is. If you have time, taking the trip down into the valley is a blast.

i've only seen pictures of it. I have yet to go there to confirm that it is a real place.

Don't forget to try the Skywalk.



However, I wouldn't go there during winter though. If it snows, you won't be able to see a thing.

The Grand Canyon is near Flagstaff, Arizona. And yes, it is really, REALLY worth seeing.

I wonder if there is legit 12M-pixels or better pictures from Grand Canyon, because the above pic is like gotten by a 5 M-pixels camera.

I hope it will be fun, but I would love to hear more opinions. From what it looks from their website http://www.grandcany...tionalpark.org/ it is an amazing place. I hope to get on one of the helicopter tours and yes ''bmwcrazy'' i hope to get on this thing called the Skywalk . Has anyone done this?

The skywalk is an ugly monstrosity which is little more than an eyesore.

I've been to the Grand Canyon.

 

Its very cool, it has a serene quality about it, almost like your sitting in a church, its very beautiful
