Call it Nostalgia, but my warden has been my Favorite "protagonist" in the serious.

As someone who performed the devils business with Morrigan and survived the Archdemon, I really wish it was an option to have my warden commander be the Champion of Kirkwall and the Inquisitior.

while its been a blast experiencing these new characters, Warden Commander Cousland was the baddest.  The Hawke family would make great companions.

the fanon in my head goes like this:

The Architect warns the warden about Cory buried in the free marches or the Warden "hears" a strange call.  Adventures with Varric, Quanari, and mages ensue while managing his time with Morrigan, the kid, Kirkwall and hunting for cory.  Cory escapes and so on...

Anybody else? Would your Dalish elf or Dwarven hero have been a good champion and Inquisitor.

Helping the Inquisitor personally would be perfect. Being one... well, it would change the story completely so no
Being the Champion of K.? One. Big. NO. And. NEVER. I like my wardens too much to send to that shithole

All my Wardens are either off enjoying their hard earned retirement, trying to find a way to stop the Calling for the sake of those they left behind in Amaranthine, or dead in some fashion. I have yet to roll a Warden that either wanted, or that I wanted, to continue the story with. As far as I'm concerned the story for them was finished with Witch Hunt, and I do not regret moving onto greener pastures. Of course with that said, I can understand why others feel differently and wish the Warden was the primary protagonist for all the games. Personally however I'm glad we don't have a Shepard character in Dragon Age, though I've heard rumors they wanted to do that with Hawke, and think the Warden was the most ill-suited of all three for it by virtue of being an utterly blank slate in terms of goals and personality. If they had tried to go the Shepard route a default personality was likely to have been established, and with how differently people remember their Warden's it would have NOT ended well.

Nah. I really like my Warden, probably more than any of the other protagonists, but I much prefer the different hero every game approach. Makes the world seem more believable when there isn't just one big guddamn hero saving everything.

It's also just a cool feeling knowing your past characters are still out there, even when you're not playing as them. It was really surreal talking to Hawke as the Inquisitor, or hearing about my Warden from her romance, Leliana, and eventually getting a letter from her telling the Inquisitor to look out for Leliana, etc...they're some of the highlights of the games for me, actually.

I'll admit, though, I really would have liked the Warden to be in the party for the Adamant quest along with Hawke. That would have been amazing.

I like all of my PC's for different reasons.

My Qunari Rogue Inquisitor has really grown on me quicker than I thought he would compared to Cousland Warden or Mage Hawke.

If my Warden had so much as stepped in Kirkwall, it would have been down a Sister and Knight-Commander before the first year ended. Does that make him a Champion? I think it does, but it would have changed far too much.

I definitely like the Warden best when I compare the three protagonists. Hawke got between an ugly situation in Kirkwall with the mages and templars and failed to save the city which was I thought was cool in a way that sometimes there are hopeless causes. The Inquisitor as well happened to be at the right/wrong place at the right/wrong time (depending on which way you look at it) and used his powers to save the world. But in DA Origins you're just a warden recruit who ends up stopping the blight and saving Ferelden.

I just wish there were more references to him in DA Inquisition.

I would like to know what happened to Rywick, my canon elf mage warden, who went into the mirror after Morrigan and his kid., but no, he's too mouthy to be Champion of Kirkwall, and too cynical to be the inquisitor.

Tbh, for me the love meter goes Inquisitor > Hawke > Warden. It would have been badass had the Warden been in Adamant but I love Loghain there too much,

An expansion with the Warden (as a NPC) down the line would be cool. Bring either Morrigan or Leliana in too if they can manage to get the VAs back. And they could poke fun at the Warden for being a 'mute' during DA:O, but suddenly getting 'talkative' in the expansion.

As far as voicing the Warden... do the same thing that was done with the Inquisitor.

I loved all my Wardens :'( I miss them. Wish they could show up like Hawke did. Maybe they tookna vowel of silence X).

Side note. Are any references made to the Warden and Zevran romances or Warden and dead Alistair? Or Warden and didn't going Mirror diving with Morrigan?

Just wondering. Kind of feel bad for the romances that didn't have living lovers too comment on them.

I  Belive that is better for Bioware to make a true new Hero  like the warden, but not again him/her   rather than some pesky Inquisitor.....  maybe a new story settled on the Imperium a story not focused around  Flemeth/Morrigan as usual  but  on the war qunari-magisters  with the black divine and the Andraste's heir

Heh...reminds me of Saint's Row, where they explained the Boss' silence in the first game because he/she was just 'scared sh*tless all the time.' :P

I don't know if this is that right place to ask this.

My Warden in DA Origins said no to Morigans offer and sacrificed him self to save Ferelden (At the time i thought it has the propper good guy thing to do even though i was leaving my love Leliana behind. And also DA2 had come out at that time and i knew i couldn't play on as my Warden so i thought, why not.)

I know with the Keep that i can change this, but i would rather not because this was my original choice and i have followed that choice though all of DA2.

What i would love to know is, how does this effect my playthrough in DA inquisition? if at all?

When i saw Morigan in a trailer for Inquisition i thought that, if i had said yes to her offer in Origins, then she would have my Warden's child with her and that would have made an awsome comeback. But with me saying no i am a Little worried that her return wil have very little of an impact.

Can anyone whose Warden didn't survive and has played Inquisition answer me, how mush of an effect/impact this makes in inquisition and if it was a mistake that i had chosen to sacrifice myself for the greater good in Origins?
