Even walking around Skyhold, I see another Qunari with nicer armor up on the ramparts with his allies. So we know it can be done.

There are other Qunari in the game besides the inquisitor and Iron bull? :o

Also if they're not going to give the Qunari armor options, we could have at least been shirtless or with straps or binding like IB and gotten neat body paint or something. (Like DA2 Qunari)

The armour variety for elves is fairly light on as well, 50 hours an all i see are slightly modified armour types of the same versions that I was wearing in the first 10 levels. My Qunari warrior is on hold at the moment... and I wish I could find some real robes instead of  Hawk's dated fashion. I think this game would really benefit from an editor imo.

Not sure about anyone else, but the omg factor for unique items (armour) in the game, just doesn't seem to exist from dragons or mini boss drops, it just feels generic cut and paste. However running some various heavy/medium/light armour type schematic over Sera and Vivienne have shown some really nice options, that I just have not seen in the game proper.

That's most likely because for them to have those armours, you have to craft them your self with special materials. Like Silverite in primary slot removes class restrictions on that piece of armour.

That was DAMP character Katari, I think. DAMP characters walk/stand around Skyhold. Like in garden you can see the Keeper, and on the wall near Cullen't office stand Elementalist and Hunter.

Yeah, where the two are, is where the Qunari was.

Is this being addressed at all? How the @#$% could such a huge oversight happen, did nobody on the bioware team EVEN play through as a Qunari???

you could say the same thing about the dragon armour schematics..its ONLY for the inquisitor character..would have been nice to make some for your group too..keeping with the whole "We're the Inquisition" look.... guess not

Can Qunari main characters at least wear Dragon armor?

Every Crafted armor that isn't human only all looks the same on every race. The only difference between any of the sets are warriors get a horn on the belt, rogues get a lockpick set and mages get a book. That is it. You make a warrior or a mage and the battle mage or battle forge armor both looks exactly the same.

But I agree with the lack there of for the Qunari. That race got shafted hard core. Makes me want to puke with how badly the Qunari got disrespected for a new race implementation.

I have yet to see any Qunari on the ramparts as well... Do you have to play DAMP to get them to show up?  Or might it be because I'm playing on the 360?

I don't understand why there weren't any race specific armor for other races besides human. We have many human only armor, but where is my Dalish armor? You know the ones that have the character's toes hanging out. I hope there's a DLC that adds some different race armor, because we really need more variety.

Nobody understands, it has to be that they were tight on time, and had to release it half assed.

Or they were too busy adding more useless mounts.

Tbh lack of armor variety is issue for almost all races except humans but problem is that most of those 'non generic skin' armors cant be modded so they are major step back in status department compared to those 'generic armor skin' armors.

I just wish you ware able to attach those armor addons to unique sets too as i don't really see the point i mean just look at MP if it works there why it can't in SP not like you really have to see visual change on armor, most of them are ugly or just out of place anyway.

This game really screams for modding tools.

On my elf is same thing only variety that i saw was coat and no coat, sad thing is that coat looks the same even on every armor type be it light, med or heavy set...

Race restriction probably wont get removed as i doubt that actually models for other races exist in game.

It's annoying. The default armour is...not pretty to say the least. I can't even find a schematic for the elven armour for my dalish so once the stats on it are no longer good she can't wear it anymore and has to go back to the ugly default.

My dwarf is COMPLETELY screwed since there's nothing but the default and grey warden armours that work on her at all.

And my Qunari is too because again there's nothing but default that works on her.

The dragon armour will work on anyone when you get the schematics to make it but it's UGLY as sin!

I think there is also Legion of the Dead armour in the game. Not sure of class requirements, though, never made it.

Does Haven's Inquisition armor come in higher tiers? I wanted to wear that but my armor had way better defense.

Though the warrior guy's inquisition armor look like a maternity blouse.

Additional problem is that schematics do not say if their product has any race restrictions

If you're looking at them via the inventory, then you're right...  But if you're looking at the various armors through the armor creation system, each schematic has the restrictions listed.  In red, if you're currently on a character that can't use said armor...

In my wonderings and exploring, I found a bad-ass armour that Bull could wear. It's there ready to be found. Gear that covers his chest...

Qunari ABSOLUTELY got shafted in the armor department. It all looks the same.  I'm really tired of seeing "Human, Elf, or Dwarf Only".
