I've got my quiz wearing the dragon heavy armor from the DLC deluxe pack, which I bought in the hopes that I could get her something effective that looks cool. My mistake. The dragon armor looks like a leather dress from JC Penny's Gene Simmons' collection. It looks so ridiculous in cut scenes that I'd rather her run around in the forever lazy pajama set we're forced to wear in Skyhold. 

 

But it's nice to know that the random multiplayer Qunari dude who hangs out on Skyhold's battlements has more exclusive gear than the maker's chosen. I guess the maker's a fan of MP mode, too? That must be what he's been up to all this years.

I don't know about you, but I am not happy that the MP Qunari gets better armor then the Inquisitor.

the only sweet looking qunari item i have come across is a helmet but that can only be used by iron bull in a follower quest demands of the qun

What bug? Again the issue is that the model should be race locked.

This thread makes me so happy I'm not alone in my frustrations.  Bioware was never good with loot.  And armor designs in particular.  KOTOR 1 literally had you wearing the exact same thing the entire game.  And this game ain't much different.  Where are the improvements?   Oh wait, that's right.  They're in the MULTIPLAYER.  The mode I DO NOT CARE ABOUT.

This thread makes me so happy I'm not alone in my frustrations.  Bioware was never good with loot.  And armor designs in particular.  KOTOR 1 literally had you wearing the exact same thing the entire game.  And this game ain't much different.  Where are the improvements?   Oh wait, that's right.  They're in the MULTIPLAYER.  The mode I DO NOT CARE ABOUT. 

I was actually really excited for MP, but playing it, I just find it kinda boring. Perhaps it's just too slow, given that leveling up appears to take forever. But even then, I STILL don't have any cool armor in MP either.

Hmm. I haven't played Qunari extensively enough to know much about that. Mostly I know that the basic Inquistion armor (you know, the one from Seggrit) doesn't work on either. Which sucks. And was always very discouraging.

It's not wearable on IB. It just defaults to IBs armour It doesn't show up as unique gear from what I recall. It's just that the IB doesn't quite have casual armour the way we do.

It's absolute bullshit that this armor isn't in the single player campaign. 

 

Female Tal-Vashoth probably refused to wear it...

 need more qunari schematics or items seems as though there are hardly any decent items for qunari's i want iron bulls helmet thing (dread) he gets in the followers quest demands of the qun. or for a Ketojan, the armor from da2 would be awesome

First Bull tells you that Qunari don't usually wear shirts, they wear hanesses. Then your poor mage Qunari Quizzy gets stuffed into shirts. Why not a harness?

 

Then most heavy armors work on Bull but not a warrior quizzy.

 

Finally, we can craft helmets for every other race, Bull even gets Dread but, we can't even craft Vitaar for our Qunari inquisitors and, to get a decent looking one for end game, we have to fall off cliffs, eat a million pots and collect shard while pretending to be a mountain goat. Okay we have horns but horns does not a goat make.

I'm playing a Qunari mage and was looking forward to finding some awesome robes and stuff. By now, I am level 10 and I just found both the orlaisian and the warden battle mage armor in the Fallow Mire and they are restricted to humans and elves. Haven't found any Qunari-only wearables so far. Very disappointing...

yeah something similar to the Ketojan from da2 would be nice for a qunari mage

You know, the funny thing is I like wearing the same thing an entire game. The problem is, I have to like it first. If you look at the player armour that's there, you can tell there is a lot of detail to them and I love that. It's just that they are very limiting, and the player character seems to lack a desire to put a personal touch on their armour. It's probably to save on the amount of art assets for each gender given how it's so modular, but still it's disappointing.

It shouldn't even be an issue. If they can scale characters for sex scenes so that dwarfs can work appropriately, they can scale armor for characters.

The only Qunari-only equipment is "helmets." There is some other racially restricted stuff: dwarven med armor, elven light armor and human heavy armor. That's all I've encountered so far and it's not really the limiting...

 

Free Army - human only, all class types.

Orlesian sets - human only, all class types.

Warden sets - human, elf, and dwarf only, all class types.

Elven sets - elf only, all class types.

Carta/Legion - dwarf only, both class types. (no mage because c'mon dwarf).

Templar - human only, warrior (maybe rogue? never found one)

 

WHERE ARE THE QUNARI THINGS HMMMMMM

I would love to Harritt convert these sets so all races can use them. He already knows how to do that with any trenchcoats you find...

Something peeps should understand is that every single one of the exclusive armor (that isn't human) is only there because there's an NPC running around with it on. Thus it was an easy transition when they added races. There aren't any Qunari in game except for Iron Bull thus no Qunari armor.

That said....I want that multiplayer armor for my Quizzies.
