PC: Dorian's personal quest is not triggering at all. I've got lots of approval with him and only the last mission is missing to beat the game.

While having Solas in the team and taking him around to activate elven artifacts he does not gain approval. He used to before the patch came out. This is the same problem that is happening with Varric.

I don't know if this is due to a mod (Halamshiral Finery), but in the Winter Palace, I was getting continuously stuck going into the Vestibule and Grand Ballroom.  If you go to the door, you can actually see BOTH Vestibule and Grand Ballroom, depending on the look angle.  If you click on the wrong one (i.e., you click on Grand Ballroom when you're already in the ballroom), you go to a super long load screen where nothing happens.  Not sure if it's random button-mashing, but it eventually exits back out to where you originally were.  I was stuck here a number of times and though I'd have to abandon this playthrough before I realized I just had to make sure I chose the right door.

 

I'm on Patch 3.  This is the first time I've been in the Winter Palace.

PC, patch 3, The Emerald Graves, "Victims of War" side quest.

If you complete "Noble Deeds, Noble Hearts" quests before the refugees move to their new location (after completing "Victims of War" quest), you won't get the corresponding war table mission (not from Clara, not from Fairbanks). And if you travel out of the location (in order for the refugees to move) and choose to travel back to their former camp (since the fast travel icons moves only after you enter the zone again), you won't get another war table mission ("Draw Out the Red Templar Lieutenant").

While there is a solution: Complete "Victims of War" first by talking to Fairbanks but then telling him you have to do something else first, travel out of the location, travel back to any Inquisition camp, then travel to the refugees' new location in Argon's Lodge and after that you can safely deliver the "Noble Deeds, Noble Hearts" to either Clara or Fairbanks. It doesn't seem to me as much of an elegant solution and I think it would deserved to be patched. It probably never will be though, but at least this could help someone in the future.

Progressed game past Adamant storyline. Still not getting Elven Inquisitor side quests on the war map dealing with the Elven clan problems that the Elven Inquisitor came from.

Is there a ticket type bug report system for this game? Or at least sticky this thread.

 

This bug was probably present before but I noticed it with Patch 3 on PC.

 

All tier 3 two-handed upgrade schematics (grips, pommels and such) are listed under one-handed in inventory menu. Could be the same for lower tier schematics.

Also, description for Longsword of the Dragon states Tier 2 Axe Schematic. Greatsword of the Dragon - Tier 2 Greataxe Schematic. Same goes for Maul.

Ever since the patch I don't see notifications in the left side of the screen above minimap about acquiring new quests (not from codex entries, not from war table missions, not from anything).

Started a new game as a Human Mage. Same bug that persists in the Elven Inquisitor play through now is in the Human play through. This bug is the side quests for the racial class chosen on the map. However unlike the Elven Inquisitor where we got the initial Elf Clan Quest, the initial Human racial quest does not even come up on the map at all.

 

These are major bugs if this is happening to every single racial quest.

PC, but probably extends to all platforms:

 

Collision mesh is broken on a certain set of rocks in Hissing Wastes, northeast of Mountain Fortress Camp, almost due north of the tomb east of that camp, and east of the Stone Over Sky map landmark marker. The character appears to walk several feet above the visual mesh. Seems as though the collision mesh was not deformed to follow the object mesh.

I dont know whats going on, but my game is suddenly so crappy, i cannot play it.. ALL cinematics are now stuttering, and freezing.. Vocals and audio, even banter is choppy, and double speaking.. Im getting constant 1-3 second delays in everything, even while controlling my character.. If i pan the amera, the framrate drops to nothing, or just delays for a moment.. 

 

I started a new game, and nothing has changed, except that im playing this one with a controller.. Thats it.. I plugged in my controller! Now it was "beautiful" before, but it was playable.. This is terrible, and constant!

Rizilliant, what platform are you on? By telling the devs what platform you are on they can try to recreate the bug.

 

If you are on a PS3 or 360 this happens all the time. It's due to the inability to install the 2nd disc that comes with the game and it causes those older systems to over heat because the system has to run harder to play the game from the disc instead of from the hard drive like other games that have the option to install. This also causes issues with texture pop in for graphics. What you need to do is shut down your system again if you are on a last gen console and let it cool down for a hour or so before you play again.

Didn't see this in a search, so if it's already posted disregard.

 

Having the passive "Simulacrum" from the Necromancer tree essentially negates the passive "Guardian Spirit" from the Spirit tree.  What should happen is you get low, Guardian Spirit triggers giving you a barrier.  If you continue to take damage without healing and are "knocked unconscious", Simulacrum should take over and you can fight as a spirit.

 

What actually happens is you're knocked unconscious without the barrier popping up, then your spirit takes over and gains the barrier.

Morrigan still insists my warden is in love with her and they had a baby. He romanced her, true, but she abandoned him because he turned down the ritual and he stabbed her at they eluvian... hell of a thing to get wrong.

Similar issue here. On the PC, ever since launch. Morrigan claims the warden is her love and her son is his. My warden and Morrigan were friends, though he never slept with her and never romanced her. He romanced hardened Leliana, married Anora, talked Alistair into performing the ritual and then stabbed her in the Witch Hunt DLC.

Since the latest patch, the game crashes frequently. Sometimes it crashes to the desktop. Sometimes it freezes my whole computer. Most of the time it happens during cutscenes and dialogue. I've been playing through "Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts" tonight. There's a ton of dialogue and cutscenes in this mission. The game has crashed16 times in 3 hours............... please undo whatever you did in the last patch. Plz and thx!

Nvidia Geforce GTX 970

Intel i5

16GB RAM

Samsung SSD

Windows 8.1

Major bug. Playing as a level 7 mage in the Hinterlands and the fade rifts are spawning level 12 or higher monsters from the rifts. The Hinterlands are supposed to be low level monsters not high level monsters. We figured this out by locking onto a monster after it spawned from the rift after the monsters from said rift slaughtered the entire party and we went back again to find out why.

 

The game is set to casual meaning the monsters should NOT be this strong in the Hinterlands. This is a major issue and a major bug if monsters are spawning at at least 5 levels above the current player level on Casual play level setting.

Every zone has a few locations (usually on the outskirt) you are not supposed to get to on lower levels. If not ALL of the fade rifts are doing this, then this is not a bug, but working as intended. This started happening in a new play through. Started getting level 12 monsters/demons in the Hinterlands not in the outskirts but near places like the refugee camp. So it is a bug at least for me.

PS3 no patch

during final battle (part 1 - after retreat upstais) my inquisitor took "fatal" damage but before I could do anything I had a loading screen for about 2 minutes after which my Inquisitor was full healed and Corypheus was just standing there taking damage from the team refusing to attack and was still standing with 0 hit points.

I looked around and saw the dragon sitting at the foot of the tower doing nothing.

I headed down the stairs and suddenly got a cut-scene of the dragon defeating the Morrigan/dragon after which the battle proceeded normally.

The only cutscene that has frozen-up my PC is the one where you talk to Varric inside Skyhold main hall about Hawke. I have tried 3 times and each time, the scene freezes after the second dialogue wheel. I also noticed lag in this main area during regular play. My char moves extra slow through here.
