Did you think getting a low level unique meant you won't get it again? Nope!

Here's Bioware savoring our misery by making their "gacha" reward system worse than the worst Asian Mobile F2P game, at least in those you're guarantee to get what you want eventually because there's a finite amount of trash you can get...Oh, and the lower damage Lady Jocasta's Revenge is actually the newer one so you aren't even going to get upgraded stats if you get the same unique. It's all RNG!  :wizard:

I'm not sure why low level items have rarity. It should apply to level 15+. Level 6 rare worse than level 10 common trash. lol

Yeah, for the huge step forward they took on class unlocks, they took a giant stumble backwards with weapon progression.

After getting so little cloth I'm actually not that jaded at ME3's class unlock system.

Yeah, loot system is just bad. Ive gotten 4 uniques so far, all of them are below level 15. Whats the point of a super rare item if it can be outclassed by a common?

Yea, the loot system is an abomination.  Not sure why they would ever consider this system to be in any way, shape or form good or enticing.  I dropped $50 on chests, which bought me around 23 chests or so IIRC, and I got 4 superb runes and the rest pure garbage, but including 3 low level uniques.  I have purchased 62 large chests with gold (the 1200g ones), never got a superb rune and got 1 trash low level unique.  Where's the carrot?  Where's the progression?  How can $50 and ~50 hours of grind not get me a staff better than a 71 dps white?  Not even joking.  I planned to drop a bit of $ per month to support their free MP content, but I won't spend another penny until there is something to show for it.  Also, why the huge discrepancy in gold purchased chests vs cash purchased ones?  Hmmm.

There is none as far as I can tell. I purchased close to 100 large chests with ingame gold and got at least 10 superb runes and probably around 10 uniques, one of which is a lvl 23 unique. It's all RNG.

Ine two days of playing I got blues and purples for every weapon type EXCEPT 1 handed warriors.  My poor Templar is still swinging a white Neck Catcher or whatever it's called, while classes I don't even have yet have purple weapons sitting around.

I only spent ingame gold on 1200 cost large chests.  I haven't played at all for a week now but

Errrr how long have some of you been playing dungeon-crawlers RPGs? Loot has always been random and possibly repeatable. The weapons generally come in damage ranges (sometimes even stat/bonus differences). I noted this difference in the equipment document for that reason. Just be glad the crafting system doesn't have a pass/fail creation system. There's nothing more irritating than losing your EQ to a bad craft. The RNG store in ME3MP was a TERRIBLE idea... in principle. In practice however it extended the life of the game.

Yah, and most dungeon-crawler RPG totally rely on an outside micro-transaction store for the majority of the loot that gives you absolutely no control over what level items you get right? Let's just say I find comparing this to ME3MP makes way more sense than to something like Torchlight or Path of Exile. Or are we comparing to Wizardry type dungeon crawler because the last one that I played had unique that were you know...unique?

Wizardry for Nintendo. Awwww good times. I'd play that for hours on end. Yes that's what I mean. The mechanics are nothing new. You grind, you sell off what you don't need, keep the stuff you want and build it up. Rinse and repeat. I don't even bother looking at the loot I pull from chest. I build up to 10K worth of gold, buy bulk stacks, sell off everything I don't need then craft up gear. I eventually see new, better stuff every time. I think players are too busy worrying about every pull instead of just playing and enjoying the game. The loot drop rates are on the lower tier of things I find wrong with the MP. The drop rates for belts and amulets are pretty poor. MTS doesn't bother me because I never "donate" to games for advantage.

Time for me to Dual-wield these bad boys for 2% heal on attack! Oh yah! And no, I still haven't seen a single level 23 rare, let alone unique...

Do not compare the loot system in this game to any dungeon crawler game. Dungeon crawler games have had trades in order for people to compensate for rng since the 1990s, and there has been enemy-specific loot since when humans first decided to kill animals for food or fur. The loot system in da3mp is like taking the worst elements of me3mp and combining it with the worst elements of traditional dungeon games to create the ugliest baby demon monster with none of the merits of either parent systems.

You guys talk like you've never played a loot game...

I've tried for months to get a "tusker and theo" in diablo 3 and still get useless lengendaries.  Most people don't even believe it exists.

D3 has better ways to get loot you want than this ****. Play with your friends and get their doubles or unwanted items and run 4x same class lootshare. Play a DH get gear for your DH. Spend 100+ hours on your assassin and find purple 2handers for boring as **** classes.

most legendary gear you get in d3 are useless, even with the smart loot.  like the get-gold glove, I've got so many of this trying to get tnt.  but i can still have fun, because this IS a loot game and gears won't just appear when you want them to.

OP shouldn't complain about getting two of the same unique dagger though. I got three Trepanner's Requitals. What the hell am I supposed to do with three of the same bow, especially considering I also have the Longbow of the Griffon?

I just want some heal on kill accessoires ...

Dear Bioware gods, This please!!

What character do I have to sacrifice for a heal on kill ring?  I've spent over 285k on large chests at the store and I just want/need a heal on kill ring, at least the rare version of 5%.  I have decent weapons and don't mind grinding for better ones, but this item is a must for me.
