Is your point of origin outside the U.S.? That seems to be where the issues are happening.

Aye. I'm just wondering whether certain nation state-based ISPs are practicing whitelisting access policies for web sites.

I doubt it. I suspect it is simply a server link that is used by several ISPs that has an error that only a few people are affected by. That's why I encourage people to complain to their ISP. Doing nothing means that it may not get fixed.

You might be right. I've seen people reporting this problem on other sites as well and the UK seems to be the location for several of them.

I'm in the UK and just checked and I can get on the New Vault.. Can't work out where anything is and haven't got an account to login to either but the home page works.

 

Unless of course it was supposed to take me into some 3D world of fantasy gaming full of naked nymphs in which case it's knackered for me too !

 

What I usually do is click on Projects > Neverwinter Nights 2 > select from the Project menu > Apply. I can then click on the table headers for the sort I want. Not exactly straight forward, but that more-or-less works.

So am I and so can I. It will depend on your ISP though. How it works is like this:

 

1. Your router to the ISP's network, where it gets bounced around going to the right server for 2

2. Their chosen route across the Atlantic, which will involve some bouncing around in the UK and sending transatlantic

3. The recipient network in the US, which will bounce it around before sending it to 4

4. The last route to the site ISP, which will also bounce it around a bit getting to the right server for NWOrg

 

The UK end should be fine; the route across the Atlantic should be fine as otherwise it would effect lots of people; the issue is likely to come at stage 3 - the US host side of the transatlantic link to the site ISP. This is very specific and will affect relatively few people - you have to be using that transatlantic recipient and going to that particular ISP. But if you use tracert then the offending link can be identified and your ISP alerted. It is likely to take a few days to fix because it will be a supplier of a supplier of a supplier - and the chain of supply will have to be followed.
