Growing up, space has always intrigued me. It's vast emptiness and void fascinated me. What mysteries lie beyond the safety and comfort of our solar system home? Sure, we have it documented as planets, rocks, dark matter, black holes, and the like. Still though, there are things out there in space that not even us, as sentient beings, cannot comprehend because they transcend our human senses. I've always loved Sci-Fi because of this. Honestly, the Mass Effect series hit the nail on the head for me.
It depicts of a future where there are multiple races united as the Alliance. For all you science fiction geeks out there, think about it. Imagine what it would've been like to visit all those races and live amongst them united. Imagine what it would be like to be on a planet with nothing but blue skinned women with perfect summer bods, or fighting alongside the behemoth of a krogan. I've played multiple science fiction games, but this game is on the top of my list. Halo used to be my all time favorite, but Mass Effect is slowly taking over. The ability to explore planets at the press of a button on a hologram map on the bridge, working alongside other alien races in the future, and even having sex with alien races! The first Mass Effect trilogy was amazing. I'm absolutely amped for the next Mass Effect and I hope they make it even better.
The idea of being able to explore a fictional universe in free space exploration absolutely excites me. Once the game comes out, which I will most likely have preordered, you better believe that I will take my time and explore every patch of dirt, rock, puddle, and anything else that I can. I'll go to every planet that I can and talk to everyone I can. I love being able to immerse myself as much as I did in the Mass Effect universe. I know that BioWare mentioned the original cast is very unlikely to show but I still have hopes of seeing them. I mean, Krogans and Asari can live for centuries, right? I just hope it doesn't take place too late in universe. I sure would've liked to see what the other crew members continued on to do.
Thanks for reading. I was bored and had some thoughts I wanted to express and discuss. Your thoughts on it?
