3 zones in a row now I have finished every quest and collected every collectible, but still have 1 region left to find.  For the previous 2 I just aimlessly wandered around until I hit the magic spot and it would update.  I'm in Exalted plains atm and I'm at 20/21 and I can find no easy way of figuring out where the last region is.  I have unlocked both of the areas that require the war table to unlock and I have the prima guide but I still can't find it.  I have slogged through every inch of this zone and it's starting to drive me nuts, anyone know of an easy way to find a missing zone?

I just look at the map and see which regions look like the map hasn't been fleshed out and go there. 

 

If there's a giant shadow or it looks like a bite was taken out of the map then that's where the missing region likely is.

I am in the same boat. I cannot find the blasted 21st region..

There's two regions in Exalted Plains that have to be unlocked at the War Table: the eastern part, and the region north of the bridge.

We all have the two operation regions, it is the last one that is either bugged or so small you can reveal it merely by walking around the outskirts of it and thus miss it. I don't think Hong even bothered to read the OP.. he just parroted what we already have done.

Haven't seen anyone at all who has 21/21 for Exalted Plains (though a few like to parrot liches and obvious "assistance" w/o actually reading)... so it could be bugged or could just be a matter of one step this way or that to unlock a region you don't actually explore much of.. eg. one of the odd shaped hills.

oh, just something, I know someone had missed 1 region in the emerald graves, there is a tiny area called stone watch it is a cliff edge that you covers bout 3 meters in diameter, has a sack and a skeleton and that is it. Barely large enough to fit iron bull.

I have 20/21 as well, here's some of my map for whatever good it might do. It's missing the southern bit below the Dalish camp...it might be some tiny little spot or there may not be a 21st region. Could go traipsing around again and see if I do discover something.

EDIT: Never mind, found it. Remembered I had forgotten to get one of the artifacts, and it was a single tower that was classed as a region of it's own.

RE: Exalted Plains - I also have 20/21, have done all the quests, and wandered ALL over that map several times.

 

But we're not alone, Google has quite a number of hits about this.

 

There's some speculation that a region near the center of the map isn't triggering, but it's anecdotal evidence at best. http://postimg.org/image/kxpllamjf/

I think the final region is breaking into the tomb within the dalish cemetery. The tomb is located all the way to the south east. I'd like to hear back if someone confirms or denies that claim. The map shown in this topic doesn't show it's location as it's at the very edge. I think trying to open the door starts a quest to find the key. Which in turn is in a Dalish grave in the foreground.

 

Scratch that. I smite my elven name in the quest for knowledge. I did get a mosaic piece though.
