When I went to the fade the demon was taunting my Hawke about "Merrill will die." I didn't get a response because Jusitinia thought I wanted another cutscene with her right at that moment.

My Carver didn't die and remained as a templar. I romanced Seb but the demon still said 'your family died' sort of thing. Guess their relationship has no dark secrets/regrets? lol

Honestly, I felt like the romance mentions sucked. They pretty much ruined my Hawke's relationship (imported f!Hawke/Fenris) just to force her into the game for like half an hour of screentime.

That's pretty stupid. Not bringing Anders and even Isabela and Sebastian makes sense in the context. I was wondering what the excuse would be for Fenris and Merrill and I'm not surprised to find it's weak since there really isn't a good reason.

Did he? Must not have read that one as carefully. I was pretty rushed with my first playthrough. Heck, I still had at 3 whole areas not even opened up by the endgame.
Still, there is a bit of a contradiction with what Hawke says and what Sebastian's war table mission says. I doubt Bioware is going to elaborate, but I hope they do.

Yeah kinda. I must admit I let it slide with Merrill at first, but only because my Hawke was diplomatic. It sort of fit my role-played character that she'd demand that Merrill stay out of harm.

Does Hawke call Sebastian her husband? I don't think the keep accounted for f/r with anyone besides Varric and Merrill, but I liked that they confirmed their marriage in Legacy, so maybe bioware decided to let them marry regardless of the romance's orientation.

Adding to that question NeverlandHunter; has anyone tried romancing Alistair, have him stay in the Wardens and then making the Warden do the ultimate sacrifice?
I had a friend with Fenrismance and Hawke mentions him when they first arrive at Skyhold, something about having to leave him behind because he'd die for them/do anything for them. Then in the Fade the demon says Hawke can't protect Fenris. And Varric mentions Fenris at the end of the quest as well. Sorry for being so vague, it's just what I remember from my friend.

Random question for anyone who didn't romance any characters with Hawke:
Is there any mention of Aveline as the BFF? In DAII, no romance meant a whole lot of Aveline. I'm curious to see if that trend carries over.
Secondly, has anyone ever noticed any mention of Tallis and her kiss with Hawke? It's an option in the Keep, yet I've never seen it mentioned anywhere in DA:I. Or even a mention of Tallis in general, for that matter.
