Let me start by saying that I absolutely love this game. I love the plot and all the free roam aspects they have added.
I just beat the game and I can't help but feel that the actual story was somewhat rushed and shallow. The ending, to me, was very anticlimactic. The cut scenes weren't very long or in depth and it was over and to the party in a matter of minutes.
In regards to cut scenes, I think there should have been a lot more throughout the game. Especially with your companions. They all felt so shallow to me. I was able to do everyone's personal plot missions regardless of approval rating.
I wish there would have just been more to the story I suppose. From the way they talked about the game, I guess I just expected more.
Well...that wasn't what I was expecting.

I definitely agree with you about the anticlimactic ending. Especially compared to the awesome endings of other DA games, Mass Effects and who can forget the special twist at the end of KoToR. I was fully expecting the Inquisitor's romantic interest to play some sort of key role in the ending too, which didn't happen. (Well, except for at the party, I suppose?)
All in all this game ended up being one of my favourite RPGs yet, with every other main story quest being engaging, fun and challenging. Maybe it was that we really didn't get to make any decisions in the end, sicne It was just a matter of following through at that point. They might as well have built the battle scene into the credits for all the agency they gave us.
