Forgive me if this has been discussed and/or I don't have a clue...

I am wondering why the PS3 version does not have support for the keyboard and mouse.  It would have made the game play much more like the PC experience most people seem to prefer.

Is it even possible for a game developer to provide this support in PS3 games? 

I am a console noob but I do know I can browse the web with my mouse/keyboard on my PS3.
