I have been playing this game a fair bit lately, and one huge issue I have found is that hitting anything on a different level than yourself is nearly impossible with any non-aoe melee abilities and attacks.

This punishes knockdown based melee characters who have trouble landing their normal attacks on uneven ground and fallen enemies, and I feel increasing the vertical size of the melee hit areas (not necessarily the aoe itself) in order to make attacks more forgiving on enemies who are displaced would make melee combat more effective and reliable.

Yup, the so called highly trained Inquisition soldiers can only hit something when it is on the same level as them. Just like a well trained dog that still can't lift its head to look up.

P.S. I know a dog can look upwards... Chill.

I've actually found I can't hit Despair Demons with an Alchemist's basic attack. Daggers go under the hag while she's floating and she doesn't suffer damage.

Wait, does that mean ME3's banshees are inquisition forces?!
