I like the game well enough so far, but I cannot believe they released this beta version to us and reviewers are just letting them get away with it.
Is it REALLY too much to ask? (The gender issue)

Avoiding this bug is easy but only at CC time. You need to swap the gender cards a couple of times, then swap to the one you want. Apparently, this action properly set the gender flag. Buggy code, I know. The fix is an easy one as the conversation trigger checks the Gender Flag to initiate the correct gender dialogue. The gender selection program code needs to be looked at, for a proper fix.
For those whose flag was incorrectly set and are playing the game the only way (other than restarting a new game) is to patch your save file. However, any romance points earned will be lost to the other gender, unless the patch can also fix this.

The requisition officer keeps calling my female character sir, until skyhold at least now its inquisitor
Are the subtitles actually saying "SIR" or are you hearing sir but they're really saying "SER"? Because I learned from Dragon Age 2 that the females are called "Ser". Whenever Hawke approached someone important they called her that.

I have the subtitles on, and I've spent a lot of time in camps. It's "Ser," like in DA2.
