So far this is the most frustrating location to get around. I'm trying to hit the eastern half of the Exalted Plains but there's a long stretch of rock I can't around or through. It's the last place I need to reach to finish setting up my camps. Can anybody help?

Quests will take you further and further. You cannot open up all the camps before doing quests as with earlier maps.

 

Wow, not sure what happened here, but in my mind I was thinking about The Western Approach. Luckily, you've already found it. Sorry!

Nevermind. North of Fort Revasan, down a pit with a large wolf statue you'll find a collapsed rubble under the wall. Have the Inquisition clear it out at the War Table.
