What I want is a build for iron bull where i don't have to watch him all the time. I just got my assassin with the right build where i don't have to watch him, but it seems different for the iron bull. Since i consider him as dps i don't really feel like he should be using challenge and war cry, But i know that it's only way for him to get armor except for charge, Should i let bull use challenge along with war cry?
Im asking cause im on my hard run and i want a good build for nightmare!
I would say to give him challenge for the guard + stamina regen upgrade along with charge and his block skill in 2h that generates guard with the upgrade. If you want him for just damage but still want some guard, I would see that as sufficient to get some guard and maybe even help to peel for your ranged people if needed.
I feel like if you don't want to manually control Iron Bull, Reaver tree investment should be kept at minimum (Ring of Pain + Devour for survival only, no Dragon-rage).

I picked up Unbowed and the passives along the way, it was more then enough to keep him alive during my hard run. I don't remember if you get a taunt along the way, War cry I think? But I just disabled him from using it so that he wouldn't take agro of my tank.
