This might be a question with an obvious answer, but is there anywhere else I can get dragon scales (the crafting item) besides killing high dragons? I'm looking to craft a set of prowler armor, and 17 dragon scales will give it an armor rating of 288 which is fantastic for rouges. But so far I've killed 3 dragons and have 2 dragon scales--even if I kill all 10 i'll still be 8 scales short :/

The higher level the dragon is the more scales bones and etc. they drop

The answer to yoru qustion is "nope."  Dragon materials have exactly one source: dragonslaying.

tell me again why an armor rating of 288 will be fantastic for makeup?

i killed all dragons and saved all of the scales webs and etc... and for all the mats i got over 55-60 of them
