Sorry to burst your bubbles guys, we all know that Liara and her people hide behind masks not only because of a weak immune system, but their horrid monsterous faces....

In seriousness, realistically I doubt any of the aliens in Mass Effect could seriously look like humans.
The uncanny resemblence from Asari and humans is already a 1 in in a trillion coincidence.

Thankfully, the other aliens do not look anything like humans...yet they are all bi-pedal / humanoid creatures with 2 legs/2arms/head/etc. I would not be surprised if Tali had some bizzare squishy face with a semi-permeable membrane...

If Tali's people are so weak physically, I cannot understand how they managed to break out of their primal stages in life and start space-travel research. Unless their planet was some magical paradise free of bacteria, etc ..

Quarians had a symbiotic/parasitic relationship with the bacteria on their homeworld so they didn't need a strong immune system.

One thing that just occurred to me...
In ME1, Tali mentions the reason for her mask is her immunity system being weak, because the migrant fleet eradicated all diseases there. Yet, when I look at screenies of themigrant fleet, and the council (or w/e it is there), they all wear masks still.
Am I missing some logic there? Shouldn't Quarians walk about the migrant fleet mask/helmetless?

Yes....And entire book. Read Mass Effect Ascension and all your questions will be answered.
.....As for the pic in this topic.

I'm fine with this.

Take out the jem, but kinda keep that ring around her forehead, and make the earrings smaller, and biowares golden.

Your math, science, and logic are greatly exagerated. Image IPB

Closing this for the sake that there is already a massively popular Tali Love thread
