I get a crash after 2-3 hours of gameplay.

 

The screen goes "8 bit" red, and the sound stutters til reset.

 

I am not sure if the 'stable" cat drivers do it too, but they do crash more than the beta drivers.

Never heard of a red screen of death.

Maybe your PC is so angry at this game so it shows lol

 

But, seriously very strange issue, looks like problem with PSU or monitor to me, but it can also be GPU issue.

Nah.  I will believe GFX trouble before Power supply.

 

I am 75% certain the stable  cat drivers do not have this problem. (But do crash more, lower framerate)

I will test over the holidayz

Not a true RSoD, that is just your graphics card hard locking and taking the OS down with it. There was a true RSoD back in one of the Windows 7 beta's, but they later changed it to blue.

Sounds like a GFX card problem I had this happened to me with my old Radeon HD5870 card. It was a hardware problem so they had to replace the card.
