In the hut atop Morrin's Outlook there is a piece of paper lying on a table you can read. Upon clicking it you get 75 xp, but no message or codex entry.

Encountered same bug (this is also the case with the dwarf merchant on the docks at redcliff village, there is a book next to his stand and you get only the xp from reading, no text / codex entries).

 

As an avid RPG / lore player I hope there will be a patch to fix this and re-enable those items (books / notes / scrolls etc) to read them properly but without the XP if you already interacted with it previously.

I had this happen during play yesterday. I likewise hope this can be fixed retroactively.

I think i figured it out. On coming here earlier and reading it you get Hard in Hightown: Chapter 2. Wich you get also from a book in Hessarian Camp. Probably both these notes gave this same entry and you only would get codex entry for the first one you read.

I had a suspicion that it was supposed to deliver something we'd already come across--or prompt a mission we'd already completed. Thanks for the heads-up!
