Clearly the solution is for all three to make an Inquisitor sandwich.

Once you hit Trespasser and see all the amazing Iron Bull/Dorian content there for their romance..just...oh lawd, right in the feels. It's impossible not to ship the hell out of them since they're just so perfect for each other. Whoever thinks Dorian isn't just as into Bull as Bull is into him was apparently blind during that entire DLC, haha.

I want Dorian's horny giggle when flirting with Iron Bull to be my phone ringtone for the rest of my life. ♥

So yeah my solution is to just OT3 it because Iron Bull and Dorian together is just too...awesome. Thank you Bioware.

It would be nice if they kept Cullen as a bi option. Then I would have no trouble not romancing Dorian. Bull never appealed to me at all so I never had problems avoiding him. Strange there are no other male options for a gay inquisitor if you want to see this content.

I may create a female inquisitor to vicariously experience the Cullen romance and then see the bull/Dorian play through on that one...just not great at creating sexy female characters lol

I might have enjoyed seeing this romance were it not for the fact that it relies on the reliably terrible DAI banter system.

Yeah DAI Banter is absurdly bugged. They just should've had it auto play every 10 minutes or something. Is there a mod that does this?

Dorian/Bull romance was a huge highlight in Trespasser for me.

Oh, so they did add more romance banter for them? That's awesome :) Super happy to hear that, I'll never hear it though because I never used Bull in my party much (generally liked two mages always and I liked Blackwall or Cass for the one warrior spot when I wasn't a warrior).

It's definitely worth it imo :)

I do have a question, since Bull and Dorian are never likely to get together in my games.    Bull is never in my parties long enough.   In Trespasser Dorian calls my Inquisitor his only true friend (not in a romance obviously).   Does he still do this even when he is in a relationship with Bull?     I'm the sort of person who feels that whilst your lover is more than a friend, nevertheless you would still class them as such when making comparisons.

1. If you want to hear the IB/Dorian romance banter, you have to be locked in a romance with another character. Also, Solas will NOT work for this, since he does not have a hard lock for his romance. It's soft locked even after the final romantic scene with him. I know this because I could still do the "let's talk about us" option with the other available characters, who would say "I thought you were with Solas - when you're not, we can talk" dialogue. Which sucks, because I want the Inquisitor to have Solas and Dorian to have Iron Bull. : /

Is this true? Because if it is, that's highly annoying...

I'd also like to know if that's true (or still true, considering how many patches we've had). I know I am in the minority when I say I don't like this romance at all, but I'd really like to keep it from happening and my Inquisitor isn't gonna romance anyone this time around. Can I keep them permanently apart by simply keeping them in different parties, or will they just canoodle behind my stern dwarfquisitor's back in Skyhold?

If you don't have them together in your party regularly they don't hook up. I've done numerous playthroughs and Bull/Dorian don't exist in any of em. Not that I have any problem with this pairing as I like both characters but I just can't leave Cass back in Skyhold. She is a permanent fixture in nearly all my parties. :P

Cool, thanks! Then they'll be kept apart at a distance of approximately three sleeping Titans at any given time, haha. I actually do like IB and I at least think Dorian is fun, but I just dislike the romance. Good to know I can so easily take it out.

Youtube videos buddy. I know Fluffyninjallama has some "how to" videos creating characters. Use those as templates or alternative presets.

There's no need to keep them physically apart, they will not get together in that playthrough anyway. Their relationship is predicated on your Inquisitor having romanced someone else first, so if you don't intend to romance anyone, D/IB will just not happen.

Think of it as the game "saving" both characters for you in case you decide to romance them at some point - it's only once you've hard-locked any other romance that the game understands that Dorian and Bull are now both free, and that's when their banters are free to trigger. If you never romance anyone, the game will just keep "saving" both of them for you until the end. (and no romance banter will trigger for them in Trespasser either, you must carry it over from the main campaign or you get nada)

You can have them together on the same party the whole game, if you want. Until you've locked in another romance, the necessary banters for D/IB will never trigger, and they'll just not happen.
