So, after the last quest you get your final scene with your significant other and like one more line of dialogue afterwards. How did you feel about it?

 

Mine was with Dorian, and I suppose it was cute and all but I was a little bit disappointed because I thought he was being a bit mean. After all, every time he says he's staying for you and not going to Tevinter, he adds something like "for now". I think that's kind off a sad foresight, no? 

 

And do you think they will ever expand on the romance stories?

I romanced Cullen and it was very sweet.

 

He says he doesn't care about anything other than the fact that she's alive. He then says he doesn't know what will happen after this, she says she doesn't either and they have their cute little moment on the balcony. He'd said earlier in the game that he wants a future with her and didn't want to lose her so, I assume whatever the Inquisition ends up doing they'll stay together... until BioWare does something awful to separate or kill them. 

 

I hope they do expand on the romance stories, even if it's only a few extra scenes or dialogue after/during whatever DLC missions/expansions they bring out.

What annoys me is that, and I assume this is a bug, in the post game, I can no longer talk to anyone(press X, they say hello, conversation over), so I can't spend time with Cassandra, and even when I greet her she doesn't give me the romance lines, just "Hello, Inquisitor".

I romanced Solas. It might not have been the traditional romance ending, but for me, made for an extremely compelling story. I loved every bit of it.

yeah, I really find that annoying as well.. Every follower/advisor does this.. One more line of dialogue and then it's just like "Hey" - no further option

That's not a bug, it's just end game. Apparently all of the inner circle quests will have been removed as well. End game in Bio games were never really meant to continue the story so much as it was to allow players to finish up quests or do DLC without having to re-roll. (i.e. killing a dragon, Mass Effect DLC, etc. ) I wouldn't put too much thought into the post game companion interactions.

Odd. I was under the impression that with this game specifically they were bucking that trend and that after the credits rolled, the game just continued. Of course, the Banter I've been getting post game doesn't reflect that, so I suppose not.

I just finished Iron Bull's. Had some nice moments, but it didn't really overwhelm me. He's a better fit as a friend instead of a lover.

 

I'm watching my sister play through Cullen's, though, and feeling really jealous. She's got the balcony scene, the "I thought you were dead!" scene, the ballroom scene, and of course,

It feels more fulfilling than IB's, overall--and this is from someone who thought advisor romances were a bad idea!

I thought Dorian's ending was adorable. Him telling me that I'm a terrible bore, he hates me, and he hopes it ends soon with smirks on both his and the Inquisitor's faces was pretty much perfect. Partially because it would be out of character for him to lay his heart at your feet unless he startled out of his defenses and partially because I'm also one to eschew grand statements for some lighthearted teasing.
