My characters do not hold position, whenever I attack someone, they come rushing in.

i remember in Baldurs Gate you could leave your characters at the corner of the map and they STAY there while you could run far to the other corner. Unlike this garbage AI, and not to mention your party also TELEPORTS to you if you go too far. Also this whole tactical camera thing was a huge failure.. not just the fact that you cant zoom out far enough and you can't manipulate the camera efficiently, but you can only move the camera so far and you run into an invislble like wall. It's like your camera is stuck in a tiny little freaken box...

My biggest moment of frustration was in Temple of Mythal with the ritual.

 

I disabled companion AI, told them to hold position in tactical camera and to my surprise, they stayed put! Then off to next puzzle which had multiple levels and the AI soiled itself in horror. I had so many fails because companions kept teleporting to me, blocking way and even nudged me around. For some reason the carpet on one big puzzle was unreachable for them so I couldn't even move them manually out of steps.

 

I haven't been this frustrated with game in a long, long time. In big battles I waste time playing nanny instead of enjoying the fight. How hard would it had been to code something simple as getting out of incoming aoe attacks way or not standing in hurting flaming rings? It's like PUG in Wow except I'm all 5 players at once.
