Now, before you all start complaining, I'm aware that multiple threads about this exist on Answer HQ, but since I went to the EA help chat and they told me to post it here (specifically in Scuttlebutt (No spoilers)) I am doing exactly that.

 

Basically this is the problem. My character is a mage, but the specialization mission can only be done by Leliana's card, and thus the only specialzations I can get are rogue specializations. Basically the game recognizes my mage as a rogue (but funny enough, it rightly recognizes the character as a mage in dialogue options).

Now I really don't want to finish the game without specializations, and frankly I don't feel like playing the first 30 hours over again either, so if someone from Bioware could adress this it'd be lovely. To quote EA help:

 

"I have discussed the issue with a specialist and as the issue is a bug in the game please post the issue to the forums so that the game developers can have a look on the issue and post you with the appropriate solution on the same"

Fund out there is a second specialization mission sort of underneath the first one with the right teachers. I can't believe the solution is this simple. Thank you forums!
