Can someone please tell me there is not a bug in the mission "How to lure a dragon" - Gather Quillback intestines in the Western Approach.

 

And can someone tell me how to finish that off, it disturbs me alot.

You're at the mercy of RNG when it comes to drops. Took me a while too. Just bad luck. Keep at it and you'll get them!

So it is like that? Not all quillbacks have'em? And you must get'em inside the mission area?

I'm not sure about "you must get'em inside the mission area" but the drop is random insofar as I can tell. Killing a quillback doesn't automatically mean you'll get the item.

There are alot of Quillbacks on the way up to the camp where Frederic is located, think the camp is called Canyon camp or something. Back track down the hills behind it and you shall find what you seek.

I killed eleven of those bastards until I had it. Just keep killing them and hope for the best

If you want to lure a dragon, first you need to give it a ram.

If you give it a ram, it will decide it's still hungry, and ask for a Druffalo.

If you go to get a Druffalo, the farmer will ask what the heck you're doing because it's his prize Druffalo.

Then you will have to explain about the dragon, and the farmer will get very nervous.

So you will introduce the farmer to the dragon to ease his worries.

Then the dragon will eat the farmer and thank you for the meal.

... I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. Yet another childhood story twisted.

If u have trouble finding the intestine, just save before killing a quillback. If he doesn't drop it, reload the game. I can confirm that getting it this way is faster and less frustrating.

serious who the effing quillback though that was agood idea? I mean for other sollector-**** the RNG seems to be peacked so that one doenst has to run around for a shitting HOUR and crush every stupid mob put there to get them to respawn. I even exited the area, did something else, came back.. these annoying things.. every quillback HAS to have intestines, or how do they survive without eating and shitting. Like the ram-meat, that shouldnt be a random drop.
