So, i found this from the Highland Ravager, and i was so pleased.
Then appearantly my Elf Inquisitor does not meet the requirements.
Is anyone else getting this? It does not say anywhere about it being 'Male' only, because it allows Solas to wear his (Exalted Plains) and i couldn't wear that either.
Looks like you have a bug. The game must think your character is a different race. Can you equip anything else that is restricted to elf only?
The only other craftable Elf Only armor i have is the same way. Its weird though, it get all the Dalish Elf Prompts, The Dalish Reconginize me as one of their own.
Like, i was waiting for this armor since i started playing. I was eager to find it.
I even tried to repair my game, doesn't work. I do not even know how to change save files so im not bothering with that. Im pretty bummed to the point where i don't feel commited to this file anymore.
It might just be me, and i want to find a fix so i don't have to waste 100 hours.
I can't imagine that they would iimit this to a male elf only but I could be wrong. The fact that it does not specify "male elf only" makes me think you have a bug. The dialogue may recognize you as an elf but maybe the crafting system does not.
Oddly enough, when i peer it over to Sera. It gives her red for 'Elf Trained' aswell.
I know she isn't a mage. But now i should play a different inquisitor until i can maybe get this fixed. Really bummed
I know that I was able to give Sera some of the human-trained armors when I first started playing. Perhaps the armor flags weren't set right. It'd be best to put in a bug report so this could hopefully get fixed in an upcoming patch.
Just crafted the keepers robe and am able to equip it so it semms to be a bug that doent affect everyone, rly nice looking robes just one thing bothers me about them and that is no upgrade slots which makes it worse to comparable t3 light armors.

That only works for 'Class Restriction' not 'Race Restriction'
My Elf is corrupted(?). She comes up as Human-trained only when i viewed the Orleasian Warrior Armor thats Human only.
Shes by far playable, just cant wear her best armor and cannot wear anything 'elf trained' only.

If you read the posts carefully, you are indeed wrong. They were looking for the 'Keeper Robe' Schematic, i listed it from the dragon. They didn't see it, they got re-directed by brazen, informing them they missed it in the first post.

Some people enoucnter a bug where their playable character is not recognised as elf trained(the bug is not linked to your gender since i have been able to use elven armors on my female elf char they were also equipable on Solas).
About Sera not being able to use elven armors, while some people claim this is a bug i think its actualy working as intended since she was raised as human by humas and never cared to learn anything about elven colture since she detests it(thus counting as human trained which is what she can actually equip).
Dalish armor shematics i encountered in my game were:
-keper robe ones(light armor, shematic is a fixed drop from the last dragon in Emprese du lion)
-dalish medium armor one, shematic can be bought from Hissing wastes dog merchant
-according to some other people more of them exists, not sure though if as random drops or part of extended inventoires of merchants(by perk), bear in mind though that if its by merchant perk you might have to visit the merchants many times since they get 1 extra shematic but they change with time(not sure if simple reentering the zone is enough for the merhcnat to reset and recive new random shematic or you actualy need to finish a quest or something else for it to reset-havent tested it myself so only going from what other people say on forums).
Also another important thing to mention both dalish shematics i got had no upgrade slots which made them consideraby weaker to other avilable armors, so if anyone knows of any dalish shematics avilable with upgrade slots do plz let me know.
