So, i found this High Keeper Robe for Mages at Dalish Camp and my female Elf mage was able to wear it without any problem...![]()

The red writing is irrelevant if you meet the requirements. Don't let it stop you from trying the armor on.

Er...no, it isn't irrelevant. I've HAVE tried to equip armor that requires elf training on Sera, and it wouldn't let me. That line was the only red part in the description.

Sera isn't elf trained but human trained, she can wear human stuff but not elven.

So strange, since when you talk to her, she says noone trained her, except for herself. And since she is an Elf ... ![]()

She grew up pranking Nobles and killing them, also living in denerim.

Okay, I read this thread twice and I still don't get it. Can anyone please tell me where I can get the scematic from the second screenshot (the one with bare legs), and what is it called?

You go to Emprise Du Lion. You have to follow the main quest line there. Have to get the operation to repair the broken bridge. After the operation is done.
There is 3 Arena like areas. The third dragon has the schematic. You can enter through the front or land behind it. The Highland Ravager. Its around level 21.
This dragon is easily in the top 3 for strongest dragons.

Thank you for the prompt reply! And what's the name of the schematic I'll get from that dragon?
Just to make sure: I won't get Keeper robes, right? The ones like in the Dalish camp? Because I really don't need these(from the first screenshot), look horrible on my female Dalish mage.

I once thought so myself, but the same issue is affecting people playing Dalish Inquisitors. Its a bug, not a design choice.

I really loved this armor for my female Dalish rogue. She was an archer. I'm sure that others may have pointed this out, but in Inquisition there are several crafting items that will remove class restrictions: Silverite, Dales Loden Wool and Snoufleur Skin. Using these materials will allow you to wear this item as a non-mage!

If you have enough approval with Sera she will tell you that she was adopted by a human noble who couldn't have children and that this was also the place she started training (some lessons to start or so she says). So Sera is in fact human trained.

Hmm i dunno. I think it's a bug thou since Varric can wear Legion of the Dead armour. That armour is for underground dwarves. Varric is an adrastrian surface dwarf. He has been one all his life. No way in hell a surface dwarf can wear it (IE trained). And yet i can give him silverite legion of the Dead armour. And i'm guessing other dwarven inquisitors can wear it. I think the sera thing is a bug because supposedly her body is a human body, not an elf one. Only her head is elf i think

I assume that the "(race)-trained" is more body type. I believe that some people have found out that Sera has the human body-type, and the Elf Inquisitor does not (I think).
So for Quizzy, I think bug, but Sera might not be designed that way.
Plus, I seriously think that everyone but the Dalish inquisitor looks tons better in the original 3 types of armor.

Was about to say that, the Legion of the Dead armor in fact doesn't have dwarf trained restriction but instead has a dwarf only. It also looks like Sera has the human body type which makes my dalish Inquisitor all kinds of jealous ![]()

Really don't like how Bioware gave Sera a more "normal" looking body type, but "real" elves are left with a bony, half-starved frame. Supremely lame of Bioware.

Well if we're being honest and all you did (damn you all !!). I soo wanted to say that ![]()
On a serious note however I'm glad there are other people noticing stuff like that cause someday I might have a question that needs answering.

All3 in that area aer the strongest in the game they are tricky but if you're close or at their level you shouldn't have too much problem with them. You go to Emprise Du Lion.
