Unfortunately it didn't work for me.  Could that be because when I edit AddIns and save it, it's saved as an Office Open XML doc??  I'm ever so slightly annoyed about all this carry on.

I'm having an issue with my DAO not syncing up to the dragon age servers. Being that I bought my disc before Awakening came out I'm not sure if that has anything to do with anything.

Either way, I log in with the same account and it says it's logged on but doesn't seem to actually sync up with my profile at all. All the DLC is on my computer, and so I see the DLC quest giver show up to say a few things, but It continues to say that the content I have is unauthourized.

I am lead to believe that the syncronizing is the biggest fault at the moment and I'm not sure how to fix it...

myyrdneopia, I tried your solution, and you succesfully blew my mind... Thank you. it does seem a very successful method and I do suggest it to anyone else having the same problem. You have saved me from a massive headache. Thank yous.

Well, I finally dug out the DAOrigins.exe. It was in the bin_ship folder and Windows' search function needed prodding to find it there.
So I've managed to get the developer console to run. Unfortunately, it says there's no such script as zz_gwb_debug. There's another thread called READ HERE to fix KEEP not showing on map..., but that died off with people having the same problem I am now and no fix suggested.

Hm. Just as well I keep getting a "Can't load Module" thing everytime I try to do the darkspawn chronicles.... And It won't exactly let me ACCEPT the quest to the Warden's Keep from to quest giver.... so there are still some bugs that Are beyond me.

There have been reports of folks having issues with their content (blood dragon armor, Soldier's Peak, etc) after using the fix. I have not experienced this, as everything shows up in my inventory, on my characters, and on the map. It may be because I am running DA:O on Mac, or something else, I'm not sure.

I have found that I can run several of the main scripts, like 'arl' for Redcliffe and so forth. But not the 'shl' or 'gwb' scripts. The latter apparently being necessary to get Soldier's Peak to show up on the map.
On the bright side, since Sulcher's Pass is The Stone Prisoner, that does appear functional. Or at least on the map. Warden's Keep is all that I'm missing.

I have attempted downloading the .dazip file for it and running the DAUpdater. But it errors out on updating the addins.xml.

Thank you, works for the Mac versions as well.

For those running DA in Mac, I found the file in my Documents section, but I didn't do a standard install, so it may be in Application Support. I'll supply both locations below.

-- Macintosh HD / Users / [username] / Documents / BioWare / Dragon Age / Settings

Yes, this does work.

However, I noticed that if you start a new game after making this change, the bonus items you get from DLC achievements are suddenly not available (this doesn;'t appear to be the case for existing saves).

So...workaround lets you play, but denies new games the bonus items.

Wow this is so stupid, thanks EA. Not only do I have to play off line for DAO since all of my dlc is out but all my extra points to spend that I had bought and saved for new content are gone as well. Im sooo happy I didnt buy DA2 this weekend and im not buying another EA game until this is fixed. I know there is some fix on the forum but EA screwed it up and EA should fix it, also the fix doesnt refund any unspent Bioware points.

Tried this, tried other supposed fixes. Nothing seems to work. I can't even play my current games because it says the owner of those save files needs to log in because my account doesn't have access to the content, even though I obviously did when I started the characters.

Same here. reinstall didnt help.

I was able to get the old saves to work by logging out of my Bioware account, but I still can't create new games.

Last week everything was fine, my last save is near the final fight, and I'm using Shale and one piece of blood armor still. I got back from traveling, tried to load my game, but I got the unauthorized content message. I just tried the RequiresAuthorization deal after doing everything except completely reinstalling, and that caused my Shale and Blood Armor to disappear. I was able to load the save, unlike before, but it wiped out anything from any of my DLC...so I wouldn't say it worked for me.

Curious, what in the world was done recently to cause this to happen to so many people? Was there some sort of server update while I was gone?

Yes the server had a fit last Friday and is still AWOL!

Ah, I see. Since it's EA, BioWare, whatever; I can imagine this won't get fixed...great. Ya, I read the forum, that's why I posted that I had tried everything, aside from an uninstall. Oh well, guess I won't be finishing it. I just restarted it to actually finish it before playing DA2.

This is how it worked for me:

I went to "C:/Users/(Username)/Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings" and deleted that folder... (you might want to copy it to have a backup... just in case).
I entered the game, logged in... and all the addons appeared in the second tab... so i downloaded each one of them manually.... and they worked just fine.

Feastday Gifts/Pranks don't show up in Bodahn's shop, and the Blood Dragon Armour is missing from my inventory.

Running on patch 1.04 so the force load method won't work.

EDIT: Damn, I've got the Missing DLC glitch. Soldiere's Peak and such are gone.  Going to freshly reinstall the game.
