I got a new computer, re installed my Dragon age origins and then downloaded all the DLC
I had purchased before and its telling me its unauthorized. dose any one know what to do about that one?

I had several problems with DLC files after I uninstalled Dragon Age Origins (Original) and then installed Dragon Age Ultimate (to get Awakenings and DLC content).  The first problem was that DAU wouldn't install, and EA Support finally gave me a digital download copy through the "Store.Origin.com" web site (took 10 hours to download).  The second problem (once the new DAU was installed) was that all the DLC files were listed as "Unauthorized".  I got the "Unauthorized" DLC's to work in a round-about way, but I think the real fix for this is below.  The third problem was that many of the DLC files would not work in the game itself:

1.  "Blood Dragon Armor" did not work (no armor in inventory)
2.  "Feastday Gifts" and "Feastday Pranks" did not work (nothing in Bodahn's inventory)
3.  Soldier's Peak would not show up on map after conversation with Levi.

EA Support told me they just got a new circular (11/19/11).  Go to Dragon Age/_Installer (in "Programs" folder - not your "Documents" folder) and then click on DAUServiceSetup.exe (run it).  Then, re-start your game.  As soon as I re-loaded the game, there were a series of "New Quest" information blurbs that popped up (all the stuff that did not work before).  Maker be praised.

I just bought the ultimate edition and linked my accounts with both it and DA2. DA2 installed no problem, but Origins ultimate wouldn't even finish installing. I tried again through origin and it installed, but it tells me all the bonus content is unauthorized and when I go to the redeem link it doesn't take the code.

Help!!!!! I don't even want to play without all the bonus stuff since I've been there and done that already.

I am with the military in Afghanistan, i bought Dark Age Origin Ultimate Edition and wow...........what do you know none of my dlc works. I did everything the posts say to do and i still dont have all the dlc. is it  my fault? or is this just crap work from Bioware? Can I get some ideas guys to make all my dlc work?

Hi, I just tried EVERYTHING (REALLY EVERYTHING) for the Warden's Keep bug (not appearing on map, the guy won't take me there even if I accept the quest...). It doesn't work. I tried the runscript, it says that there's no such a script (however, the other scripts work and the other DLC too). I also tried everything on this list (thanks to you, a lot of people could have solved their problem =) )

Still, does anyone know how can I work this out?

Ok for those folks having a problem with Soldiers Peak DLC and completing the adventure. If you are up to patch 1.4 or 1.5 the following is a problem. If you are a mage and you are wearing the vestments of the seer your magic is artificially raised high not natural. Problem is for some reason if equip the Dragon Thorn staff while there you may get stuck in a loop or when you exit get zapped off the map and having a conversation with Dryden's feet. Before you exit remove the staff from being equipment same may apply to the Warden's armor just not sure. Only had the problem with a mage. For some reason when in Soldier's Peak it does not recognize the + magic you have from equipment. It gets stuck and you get stuck. I would suggest waiting until you exit the building and leave the area to equip anything from Soldier's Peak. Just to be on the safe side.

The only solution I have found for your situation. Is reload from a point you accept the quest. Do Not and I mean Do Not save the game or quit after accepting the quest. Go directly to Soldiers Peak do not do anything else or go to another location to reequip. you will get a clue right away if it is working correctly Dryden will appear when you arrive and you will have the conversation about being lost and finding your way to the Peak. If this conversation does not appear or it skips you will have to reload to a point before accepting the quest again. When completing the quest follow the instructions from my last post. It will allow successful completion of the Peak.

I know it is a pain but there are many links in this forum to fix the problems with DLC Ultimate Edition included. Please scan through them they are a wonderful reference I have used everything here at one point. We go to a lot of trouble to assist with DLC problems. If your new to this thread, go through to old posts before posting for help with DLC. If you stuck and new to forms and threads just go back to the top of the thread and read the posts til you find your problem. This thread has been around for a long time and is quite extensive in solutions.

This just started happening to me, but I authorized and downloaded all of my dragon age dlc and played it on a different computer.

Thanks OP, you´re a lifesaver.
"Return to Ostagar" from the Ultimate Edition remained unauthorized although every other DLC worked.
After trying everything step for step your last advice - renaming the file - finally did the trick.
Looking forward to play it now!

just bought the Ultimate Edition and had problems with unauthorized DLC. Dl'ed the 1.05 Patch and everything is fine now, THX!!! =)

Yes! I bought the Ultimate edition and I had the same problem until I downloaded the 1.05 patch.

Thanks so much!  I had this issue when I had to uninstall and reinstall the game because I got the Ultimate Edition.  It was merely directing the updater to the wrong place.  Wonderful FAQ!

I had to reinstall the game since i bought a new harddrive after the last one stoped working. I have origins and awakening. Both games works fine and im logged in to the servers. I have the game key registerd and redemed both the blood armour code and the shale code but it wont show up in downloadable or downloaded content. When im logged in in the game and click to go to the online profile it say no registerd profile found but i do see my achievment. All worked fine first time i installed it but not now.
