Update. It worked temporarily. I played last night, and then when I went to play again tonight, got same error. May need to repeat the above steps every time you play the game?

[EDIT] Confirmed, I have to repeatedly follow these steps, although only the second part (from JackM), which requires clicking on the downloadable content menu and waiting for points to update before resuming the game.

hey i talked to the guy at the camp who offers the soldier's peak quest as well as the guy who's supposed to mark this village for the stone prisoner quest....both said that they will mark the destinations on the map. when i open the world map none are marked! what should i do? will be grateful for any help....

How can you reset your achievements on DAO? Not just by removing the profile.dap, but also from the BioWare server. This also has conflicts with the DLCs. If I do delete the profile.dap and don't log into BioWare, then I can't play with my DLCs because it wants authorization. Hacking the files and changing their values from 0 to 1 for DLC Verification doesn't seem to do much. There is also a separate thread of people desperately asking for this to be included/fixed.

Hacking the files as in changing RequiresAuthorization="0" from 1 to 0 in the AddIns.xml folder.

I tried all of that above and can not get it to work.... I am so pissed
off that after I switched over DA:O from my computer to my TB drive I am
unarthorized to the dlc I got with the game nor the dlc I brought
through the bioware points. So I invest 100 bucks into a game i will
never finish...  I doubt I will ever get it to work. I tried everything
googled it found 5 possible ways... Nothing worked and all the content
doesn't show up. Its all in the files... I must of screwed something up.
This problem for me was abit out of my league. I am thinking outside of
the box here..... Lets say that Bioware dropped the ball. or E.A. 
did... i blame them both. Ok to me the fact i bought content and
invested 100 into a game i have to work for to make it work. is crazy.
Insanitry at its finest. PC gaming is dead and consoles are a big money
dump with out dated tech ps3 or 360 both substandred peices of crap. ok.
Maybe a bit harsh. Hey I got jacked by Bioware. Atleast make sure your
DRM system works before throwing it out to the market. Failing to do so
is fraud, but hey remember me T.O.L/A.? Yeah ok you have good lawyers
you win this time Bioware. WRONG! last game I buy from you. If anyone
else has half a brain you'd wouldn't stand for this **** either.

I bought and am currently downloading Witch Hunt, but it seems stuck at 0 percent for no reason, and the 1.04 required version on the Info Bar is red, unsure as to why.

Same issue here. Stuck at 0%, and the content is set to Enabled allready, so I wonder if something is already downloaded? If so, my 'Other Campaigns' is still greyed out. I wonder if the Bioware servers are meeting the challenge of the mass downloads for this DLC...

Have purchased and downloaded Witch Hunt, which shows as installed (but unauthorised). However, it doesn't appear in the 'Other Campaign' options. I've tried installing 3 times now and the same happens each time. This seems to be a real problem with 64 bit OSs. I'm running Win 7 (64). Can a mod/tech out there give some advice on how to make the content work? Had no trouble in the past. Thanks in advance.

I have a Witch Hunt DLC item bug. When I import my
characters into witch hunt it appears naked. But if I load the
epilogue savegame in the original campaign, all my DLC items are
fine. I have tried creating new saves with the DLC working fine, but
when I import them into Witch hunt; no DLC items. Anyone else have
this issue?

Hi, i have a diffrent sort of problem. I got Witch Hunt downloaded but the hostile NPC's are all passive and cant be killed so i'm kinda stuck there. Anyone else has this problem or solution for it?

i just got off of awakening and went onto origins and it said my profiles corrupt ii created new character all my achievement items for dlc are gone i have no clue hot to get them back seeing they unlock from achievments

As for the console, was the problem that you couldn't get it enabled, or did that work, but running the scripts didn't fix your problem?

For more info on getting the console to work see the Console Page at the Dragon Age wikia.

Once its installed the scripts are pretty simple.  The thing to keep in mind is that as you type it doesn't show it on the screen, you just have to type the command and hit enter and cross your fingers.

Since you haven't yet done the quests, here are the scripts you would need to run.

Warden's Keep - runscript zz_gwb_debug.  Then when it brings up the prompt select Make a Jump, then Entering Soldier's Peak.  It will treat it as if you are just arriving there for the first time.

Shale - runscript zz_shl_debug.  Select Warp To Location.  Then Honnleath.

i have the same problem exactly as randy has.
I have already reinstall the warden keep, but the problem is still the same.
after i reinstall it, i try the console. But when i wrote "runscript zz_gwb_debug", it says "no such script" (i use "angel console fix font" to view the text in console mode)..
please help me..

I got the same problem as Yazour II. Importing any save from the original game with DLCs to Witch Hunt or Golems get me a naked char, Starfang and Blood Dragon Armor are gone.

[EDIT]: While browsing Dragon Age wikia, I found this patch for keeping DLC items through Awakening. Maybe this can work for Witch Hunt and Golems too, don't know. My principal concern with this patch is wether I'll be marked as cheater for using modified items or if this workaround is considered a minimum legal at least. I installed DAO Ultimate Edition and started downloading the content.  Most of it has completed.  I've already done Return to Ostagar and the Stone Prisoner.

I saved the game in Party Camp.  Now when I attempt to load the game I'm getting an error that an owner of the premium content must be logged in.  I've registered the DLC, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to play those 2 quests.

There are 6 items that show as Unauthorized in my Installed Content.

I've seen other threads on "unauthorized content" but wasn't sure if the fixes there would apply to the new Ultimate Edition.

Help would be appreciated as I can't even play the game now.  I can't play logged off or on.  Unchecking those 6 content boxes does not allow me to load those saved games either.

Yesterday something happened and in every Origin save I had, I could no longer make a party. Even after stripping all DLC/Addins/Overrides and at base 1.04 game. Nothing. Uninstalled DAO totally and reinstalled. Now Golems and Leliana's Song are showing as available for purchase. Though the 'gear' DLC (Golem's Might, Battledress) show as loaded and authorized.



Ended up deleting the profile.dap and forcing the game to recheck everything. That worked for a few hours and now those two DLC are back in the 'available' tab.

I've a problem with Warden's Keep, I recently had to reinstall my Dragon Age Origins due to trouble with my laptop that requires it to be formatted, then I installed Dragon Age and its DLCs, when I tried installing the offer for Warden's Keep it says no valid mod data found, any suggestions with this?

Sorry for double posting, but I've worked it out, i just installed it manually (without the updater nor damodder or the likes, error for either), worked like a charm, dunno if there's gonna be problem in the near future, but that's that.

Now, after 3 hours of struggling I can finally play! ^^

I am doing 'broken circle" where I am trapped in the fade and trying to free my team from their individual nightmares. when I get to shale, I can see him in the distance but there is a statue blocking my path. I can see no way around it and I change to the different forms but the statue is blocking my pathing. any suggestions?

i had the collectors edition items, Dalish promise ring, band of fire, and guildmaster's belt and when i upgraded my game from 1.03 to 1.04 the corresponding items disappeared from all saves no matter how far back the do not show even if i was to start a new game i tried deleting them i tried reinstalling nothing works any suggestions I have all the Dlc
