No. Way more bugs. Loading is scarcely faster. Game looks great on its own on consoles. If you can deal with the poor controls people are experincing and numerous bugs, then go ahead

I have both (don't ask). PC, even with middling hardware looks better than PS4, but it's a lot more unstable. It's just depends on what's more important to you.

Not sure why people are saying it's more unstable on PC.

I haven't had any issues so far, and yes, your load times WILL be much faster on a PC and specially on an SSD. Your GPu should also net you better graphics and performance than a PS4.

Finally, if you don't like the mouse and keyboard controls, you can always use a gamepad on PC.

Consoles should be your last option given your current PC specs in multi-plats.

If your pc is up to it..then its a complete no-brainer...I have pc version my brother has ps4 version.

ps4 version is very good..cant knock it...but, my pc version just blows it away graphics wise.especially as ive got mantle running instead of dx11..just a totally different level !!

haven't come across any real problems with bugs...but my brother does have occasional stutter in the cutscenes on his ps4.

and as for controls im cool with my keyboard and mouse but if I wasn't id just use my gamepad...simples :)

and what no one seems to mention..frostbite 3 was built for pc..its ported over to the consoles

From what I've heard, you're better sticking to the PS4 and what's wrong with the PS4 version anyway? The graphics are great enough, the game plays perfectly on the controller and it's not like the PC version has the benefit of the tactical camera or mods anymore.

Have seen a few people with 7950's say the game was running great.  So should't have any driver issues.  Loading times aren't bad with a normal hd haven't tried it with my ssd yet cause...that is just for total war lol.

That being said I don't think I'd bother lol ps4 version looks good enough to me.  I'd say for the next in the series you'd defo. want the pc version though.

He has better hardware than a PS4, that's why. He should be able to pull off near 60 FPS at high settings. The PS4 can't do that.

The only reasons to ever get a PC version over a console is either vastly superior graphics, which isn't the case here, or mod support, which also isn't the case here.

Maybe if they revamped the UI and made the Tactical camera useful on top of fixing the bugs.

Lol what? I think 60 FPs over 30 FPS with drops is significantly better in terms of performance and the fluidity of the game.

Also, although the graphics aren't vastly superior on PC, they are STILL superior.

Easily yes. The bugs will be patched out, but the jump in performance will always be there. The game looks much better running on Ultra; much MUCH better especially if you have an eye for aesthetics. Plus there will no doubt be mods soon, there always are, and on consoles you never get to see all the armors and stuff people make.

If you're already ten hours in, maybe finish the game out (the main story is really short) and then do a fresh playthrough on PC so you can see different options.

I also don't understand what all the fuss is about. I'm playing the game on PC just fine. Is it true that PC has more bugs than console version? The bugs that I've heard are actually exist in all systems, such as shuttering in cutscenes, conversation bug, etc.

It's also better to get 60 fps in cutscenes and open world areas on PC. Sure, I got huge dips from 60 to 30 fps by going to towns/cities, but are consoles locked at 30?

PC is better. There isn't any bug at all except the 30FPS cutscene lock which also happened on consoles. Those who say unstable are probably fanboys. Console elitism is bad as in any forum you can find

In terms of graphics they dont look that different , i got the deluxe version on PC and the normal version on PS4 i play the latter now since ....well bugs , weird controls and all .

There is a bit of fanboyism going on here when people tell you the PC ones blows the ps4 one out of the water , it doesnt , it looks only a bit better , not enough to warrant you going through the hassle of buying a new copy though.

Whatnow? I'm a PC Master Race elitist, but even I can admit that stability is not the PC format's greatest strength (especially with Bioware games). The lack of technical issues is one of the console's few virtues.

I have both and both are great, but the PC on Ultra is incredible. Just gorgeous. Once you get used to the Mouse and Keyboard controls it also plays better I think.

On PC I still get micro stutter, even with a GTX 970 card. I still would rather this than the PC version.

Graphics are so similar you won't even notice the difference and it's the same for the load times on PS4, so the advantages are virtually non existent. Anyone claiming PC has vastly superior graphics at this point is living in 2006.

PC does have vastly superior graphics on a lot of games (can consoles do 4k all of a sudden?), but I agree that there's not a lot to separate them in this case.

On a 3 year+ old I7 920 OCed with a "upgraded" gpu that is now a 580 3GB, I've been running the game on around high settings at 1080p, some stuff like meshes at ultra. Game is running pretty darn fine, 45 hours or something now without a single crash or glitch. I also ran the game on low/medium and high mesh settings at 720p on a 460m laptop, what do you know it still runs fine. Makes me wonder what kind of **** people are using as their gaming PC.

Considering I can run the game this well on old crapware (which still blows a PS4 away, got one of those too for Bloodborne next year), I'd never even consider a console version since I can do either KB+M or controller on my TV with PC.

Being able to play borderless/windowed while also using secondary monitors for other things is quite the benefit while doing all these MMO style quests.

I doubt anyone is saying that a PS4 could compare to a PC in general , though i would agree with the guy above you that when it comes to just graphics the PC wont look much better than a PS4 would, be it for this game , the witcher 3 , or any next gen game coming up in the next year.

PC version crashes, crashes and then crashes some more.

Stay away.

Until the game is patched, stay with your console version. The game will be patched but it will take some time.

I haven't had a single issue with the PC version, very happy with it. Clocked up about 20hrs so far.
