Wow, such BS. I haven't had a single crash on PC in 40 hours of gameplay so far. In the meantime, the Xbone version crashed on me TWICE.
The digitla foundry article:
http://www.eurogamer...sition-face-off
Points out that the PC version sports way better foliage, better ambient occlusion, better shadows, better mesh details, better tessellation, better textures, better shader effects, and of course, runs better and at a higher frame rate.
I mean lol:

But keep on trying to lie to the OP console warriors. I'm sure no one will realize it.

That is correct use a xBox 360 controller and the PC becomes far batter than the consoles.
I'm actually using my Xbone gamepad on PC. I like it better than the 360 one
You can also use a PS4 gamepad if you want!

@Thornblade Considering how much you probably paid for your PC and the fact you had to zoom in to a background image to find something as small as that? I LOL, actually. ![]()

The image isn't zoomed in. It's just a particular area of the larger image. IT's pretty apparent in the larger image, which is in the DF article.
Also, does price matter, talk about moving the goal post. The OP already mentioned his hardware, which is better than a PS4. You console gamers really have to start giving up on this front. IT's not healthy to be so angry at a simple point of fact: PC's can and ARE doing a lot better than consoles just 1 year into this console generation.
How angry and salty will you guys get in 2 years when the difference is even larger?

Officially you can only use an xBox 360 controller for PC which is why it was sold out in a number of gaming stores from my area. M$ made a killing, not enough to saved thier bad xBox 1 sales but still a killing.

Ah, but the point is that you had to zoom in on a larger background image, virtually proving that the graphics are so alike you had to look hard to tell the difference and let's not pretend you posted that to help OP with his dilemma. You saw a post from a console gamer, got mad and went looking for an article to make yourself feel better. ![]()

Lol, ok, whatever you want to believe man.
Also, it seems pretty obvious to me:

There are official drivers for the Xbone gamepad actually. not for PS4, not yet, but they are coming, in the meantime it's pretty easy to get the PS4 gamepad working on PC.

Blind console fanboy is blind. If there's no difference between 60fps and 30fps then people won't be bother buying PS4 instead of XB1. If there's no difference between 900p and 1080p then there's no difference between 1440p or 4K.
PC is an open platform. You can upgrade your PC anytime you want. Also i haven been upgrade for awhile and i've been enjoying 1440p for most games now with a graphics card half price of the consoles. No difference with an SSD with a normal HDD? my foot. The consoles are actually low end PCs using x86 architectures and the APU manufactured by AMD. Just because people love consoles, doesn't mean they can thwart facts.
The ONLY real reason why there aren't clear differences in most modern games because of parity. And Ubisoft love it the most.
