Hey all, not sure if this is the right sub-forum for it, but didn't see a big section.

 

Anyway, today I found the Dalish banner I was looking for, so I went to Skyhold and changed my banner to that one. Within Skyhold it seems to be using it, though it did look a bit dull with it being all white without any colour. Still decided to use it, but when I go to some other area, I notice that old banners at claimed lore objects/logging camps/... were still the old Inquisition one I used before and even new places I claimed had my old banner. I'm assuming this is a bug? Haven't tried it with any other banners yet, but maybe more of you have experienced this with the Dalish banner or other ones?

 

Note that this is not about the common misconception about banners not showing any cloth at all being a bug: if you have that problem it is because you haven't found the right banner upgrade yet.

I was under the impression that the banners were just for Skyhold. I'm more annoyed about the upgrades to the tower and courtyard being really boring.

Hmm, I think I do recall one of the devs mentioning in one of those twitch streams once that all of your banners were supposed to change, but I could be mistaken. Glad to hear that if it is a bug, I am not the only one suffering from it though

 

And yes, I agree, the visual upgrades to the tower/courtyard are a bit underwhelming, plus half the fortress remains empty and in a state of disrepair.

Dalish banner is bugged just found the topper in the exalted plains, but the banner does not show up. Not even in Skyhold.

Okay, here's the deal. All banners require components. Unlocking how to use them is automatic but for some you have to find the stuff. For example the Dailish banner (found in Emerald Graves in the wooden hut fortress (one of the small outlying buildings)) will unlock the banner for your keep. You need BOTH the topper AND the banner for it to appear in your hand, or so i'm told. and 10k TELL ME WHERE YOU FOUND THAT TOPPER! I've been searching the Exalted Plains for days with no success.
