More than a few great military leaders started their careers as engineers.  Gen. Robert E Lee comes to mind.

Just replayed my engineer on insanity and kicked its butt this time!

WOO HOO!!!!


Edit:

Incinerate for armour, Overload to take down shields and Warp ammo to take out barreirs plus attack drone for a diversion or to knock enemies out of cover.  AR  training for the Mattock for some long range punch.  Pretty much unstoppable.  I still don"t understand why this is the least popular class to play through with.  They dominate if played right IMO.
