I can't remove upgrades from weapons and armor.

I see the option, but its greyed out.

I can make upgrades, I can add upgrades, but I can't remove the upgrades once their on.  I'm not talking about runes, just regular upgrades.

 

Is this a bug? (If so, is there a work around/fix?)  Or do I have to do something first?

 

Note: Play on xbox 360.  I restarted my game recently, but I was able to remove upgrades just fine in the last one.

 

Edit: Okay, sorry, I'm an idiot.  My inventory was full.
