I will freely admit to having had all sorts of problems actually getting the game to work, and to have posted to that effect; but having said that, now that I have found a way to make the game work on my system I am absolutely enjoying it and I think they've done a great job.
I have no problem with the UI, it reminds me of a better-implemented Skyrim UI, and everyone hated that as well, mind.
The major problems I've had have been technical with getting it functioning but I'd still not rate the game itself down because of it and 0 is such a lazy way of rating a game; it implies no thought on the part of the "reviewer".
Every time a new game comes out there is a torrent of hate and negative hyperbole about it; heck, in Skyrim somebody even put a mod on the nexus that you could install that told you all about why they thought it was the worst thing ever - and if that's not over-dramatic then I don't know what is!
I don't hold much store by user reviews to be honest because they are in my view more often than not hyper-critical and way too unbalanced and subjective, particularly on aggregate sites like that. If you personally like the game then that's a win for you and a success for the game, why should it really matter what someone else thinks of it...?
Also, all of the conspiracy theory stuff: "They lied to us...!", "We wuz tricked into buying the game!", etc... really? What is that about. Again it happens Every Time a new game comes out, someone posts up a list of all the things that "they were promised" that the game would have in it, because they didn't have something that was unassailably wonderful in their view: "Oh there's no story", "Bioware said they would do X", "The original concept 2 years ago had something in it that I thought would be cool but the game does not have it and so I have been lied to."
I am sure it's all valid in context but I personally don't feel that rage-typing endless lists of conspiracies and then giving the game 0 is remotely constructive or does anything more than provide an outlet for grievances that more often than not are relevant only to the writer and a very small minority of like-minded individuals.
