Infiltrator Build for Insanity

Do you guys have any Build for Infiltrator on Insanity?

 

I'm already using Energy Drain as bonus power... BTW i really like using Sniper Rifles, so any build with focus on Weapon DMG would be awesome.

Well, I have one (linked in my signature) :P

For Energy Drain and sniper rifles, try this

 

Energy Drain: Damage, Recharge Speed, Damage

Operative Mastery: Weapon Damage, Weight Capacity, Sniper Damage

Tactical Cloak: Damage, Recharge Speed, Bonus Power

Incinerate: Damage, Burning Damage, Armor Damage

 

You don't really need Sniper Damage at the last rank of tactical cloak because of the shield gate effect, better to use Energy Drain while cloaked and then headshot the enemy, you'll be able to one shot targets anyway with that setup.

Incinerate is for boss-type enemies like Brutes and Banshees.

For weapons I would've went with Mantis, even at rank 1 it's more than enough with Concentration Mod and Extended Barrel (I prefer upgrading the weapon and use Piercing Mod instead).

 

Another build:

 

Energy Drain: Damage, Recharge Speed, Damage

Operative Mastery: Weapon Damage, Weight Capacity, Sniper Damage

Sticky Grenade: Damage, Armor-Piercing, Damage

Disruptor Ammo: Damage, Headshots, Damage

 

For this I would suggest rapid fire sniper rifle like Raptor. This is a more soldier-like build. Sticky Grenades get bonuses from the ammo and can detonate tech bursts (all by themselves if I'm not mistaken). They act as excellent boss-killers.

Just to add to Vazgen's suggestions, you may want to add in Disruptor Ammo (specced for damage and headshots) for a one-shot sniper build. Use Squad Cryo Ammo to give your squad a little extra crowd-control (squad bonus - headshots - freeze chance/weakening).

 

If you avoid using cloak and still want a one-shot sniper build, then you need either:

 - the Kishock (DLC) with Disruptor Ammo

 - Energy Drain specced for damage with Disruptor Ammo, and use the Mantis

 

Of course, cloak makes everything easier since +90% damage (weapon and power damage and melee damage).

If you want something a little more tactical, I once did a behind enemy lines bomber infiltrator using proximity mines and grenades. I found cryo ammo to be more fun on that playthrough.

Tactical Cloak, Inferno Grenade, Incinerate and. jame's Incendinary Ammo for an "Arsonist" build, where you can create lots of fire explosions.

Tactical Cloak, Disrupter Ammo, Armour-Piercing Ammo and the Black Widow for a pure sniper build. Use Disrupter for all enemies and Armour-Piercing for unprotected, armoured enemies.

If you wanna focus on weapon damage, why don't you try Marksman?

 

That + TC + Black Widow / Saber can surely do insane amounts of damage, even more if you have in mind that Marksman instantly reloads the weapon when activated.

Only in multiplayer (that function was added in a patch). In single player, activating marksman does not automatically reload your weapon.

I'd have to check again, but I believe it also does in SP (since patch 4 or so). Wasn't that even the reason it is bugged for Ashley now?

No idea why Ashley is bugged. But activating Marksman does not instantly reload your weapon in single player. I just tried it out to re-confirm. I fired a few shots, then activated Marksman. The weapon did not instantly reload.

Marksman + Tactical Cloak + SMG = GUNS BLAZING

Need to try it myself after I get the bonus power using my Biotic Sniper Shepard.

My latest playthrough:

Disruptor Ammo: Damage, Headshots, Damage.
Cryo Ammo: Squad, Headshots, Damage Combo.
Incinerate: Damage, Burning, Freeze.
Sticky Grenade: Never used them.
Sabotage: Duration, Explosive, Berserk.
Operational Mastery: Weapon Damage, Weigh, Sniper Damage.
Fitness: Durability, Shield, Durability.
The Mighty and Glorious Defense Matrix: Durability, Tech, Recharge.

Priorities: Operational Mastery, Defense Matrix, Fitness (up to level 4) and Tactical Cloak.

Primary Weapon: Black Widow V + Concentration Module + Extended Barrel. I used the N7 Valiant before buying the Black Widow.
Backup Weapon: Punisher V + Ultralight Materials + High-Velocity Barrel.

Thought I'd share my Bombfiltrator build I recently revisited for a couple of Missions. It was made from a my main Shep trilogy character, a level 30 import.

 

Cryo Ammo: Squad Bonus, Ammo Capacity and Damage Combo.

Tactical Cloak: Duration, Recharge Speed and Bonus Power.

Sticky Grenade: Damage, Max Grenades and Damage

Operational Mastery: Weapon Damage, Squad Bonus and Damage/Duration

Fitness: Durability, Shield Recharge and Fitness Expert

Proximity Mine: Damage, Damage Taken and Damage

 

Primary Weapon: Scorpion

Secondary Weapon: Hurricane

 

The tactics I used were pretty straightforward, positioning my squad at the front of a combat zone while I attempt to get as far behind the enemy lines as I can using Cloak. Then it's a case of  choosing a target, shooting a Proxy Mine and lobbing a grenade before finally firing the Scorpion which uncloaks me. Then I'd rinse and repeat once the cloak has cooled down.
