There seem to be next to none partybanters? Is it a bug, or is this how Inquisition is? :/ I have played 30 hours, and the companions is mostly quiet.

Well I'm playing on PC and there's plenty of party banter. Are you using the mount a lot? Try just walking without any mount for a couple of hours and see what happens.

I barely use mounts. I only had very few, and I have been walking for hours collecting crafting materials, fade rifts, Venatori and what not.

It seems some areas they talk more then others, and it depends on who you take with you. I had bull, blackwall and varric in western approach, not one word. Went to crestwood with bull sera and solas, talking all the time.
