Is it? I mean, can one progress "too far" with the main storyline, so that causes one to miss some quests? I'm mainly concerned with the companion quests here ![]()
Is it possible to miss quests?

Sorry to bump my own thread, and I'm sure I could find an answer to this in the spoiler section, but I don't want to go there ![]()
So, a non-spoiler answer to this would be appreciated, if it's possible. Thank you.

Yes. I completely missed Therinfall Redoubt. It got closed off after a main mission, just disappeared off the war table.

Is that the Champions of Just mission? I don't think that counts because your forced to choose between that and In Hushed Whispers.

I guess technically you'd miss a couple war table missions if you never kill a dragon

I missed Sera's recruiting quest. After a certain main quest it wasn't available anymore.

Not sure if it's a missed qquest or a bug but there is no cave wyvern when I do the 'Wyrm Hole' quest and I did miss something to do with horses from ferelden my inquisitor kicked himself over it at the stables.

You can miss some quests by not talking to people. Usually, you'll have to ignore the exclamation mark though. You can also miss quests by not doing prerequisite war table operations.

It is possible to miss quests, my advice is to always do the sidequests/companion quest before progressing the main quests. Its a general rule that I apply to roleplaying games.
You can also miss agents, if your character misses a certain perk/companion is not present during the conversation or you kill a mob before you talk with a npc, you talk with the agent, before you talk with a another npc connected to the agent.
Lots of ways to miss stufff in this game.
