While leveling my assassin I got kicked from routine. I joined a gip & noticed they would skip the healing orb, clear map, run back to heal thus saving the orb. Upon wave 4 I moved into wave 4 area, got kicked. Since it was gip I only saw the orb thing once, but I assume I got kicked b,/c of moving ahead

If I didn't lose xp, doesn't matter. No one had a mic & I didn't realize we were going full fledged tryhard mode. I would've played ball had I known. I really thought kicking someone would be more for higher difficulties or trolls. Not lolroutine.

The world is full of morons, I wouldn't sweat it

I got kicked from a Routine lobby on the first day, right after our team had a successful match ... I'm assuming they were in a party and needed space for a friend

I got kicked because the party leader didn't like templars and told his friends to kick me.

Is this only a PC thing?  Kicking mid-game?  I havent seen or heard a word about this on PS4.

Kick mechanic for a game in progress is new to me. I really wouldn't care if xp & money were awarded after each wave.

That's hilarious.

Running random PUG matches can be tricky.  Generally, if you don't want to get kicked, focus on sticking with the group.  Don't open the door to the next area until either everyone's in the heal room, or you can see that everyone is on their way to it.  There are two things that generally get people kicked the most often: opening the door to the next zone while people are still looting a treasure room, and sprinting ahead of the group.  Well, that and queuing for threatening while level 1.

Kicking mid game causes less xp for the whole party, as xp is accumulative based on each characters preformance.

Meaning you get less xp for solo a run than a 4 person run.

By kicking someone mid-game they were reducing the amount of XP they would earn... lol. Then again they could just be making rooms for their friends, but they could've been more polite about it by telling you beforehand.

If only people on the forums had warned Bioware ahead of time that this behavior would occur.

ME3MP only had lobby kicking, and it worked just fine.

I know right? I thought the auto-AFK kicker was enough but Bioware knows better, right??? <_<

Not kicking someone and having them wipe the group because they were being stupid also reduces the overall XP.  Alternatively, you could kick them and get a replacement that might be easier to work with.

Either way, if someone's being an idiot, I'd rather take the XP hit and not have to deal with them.

Azrus, that's understandable & not what most of us are implying. In fact, keep in game kicks - just for kicks & giggles, but award xp after each wave.

We need auto kickers for People that join but are AFK.

If you're playing cool with the group chances are you got kicked to make room for friends.

So far only kicked once, right at the start of Routine Tevinter.  No one said anything, so I assume it was to make room for a friend, but who knows.

Yesterday after finishing a session the host was cool enough to use his mic and say he needed to kick me to make room for a friend.  I appreciate that he even said anything so I just went ahead and left.

Today our pug placed a kick vote on Penguin for being a slowpoke and we returned the favor and booted him.

I've had that happen too.  I don't mind at all if they want to invite a friend along, so if they mention it over voice chat I'm more than happy to find another match.  That said, hosts can also switch the match to a private match which would alleviate a lot of these problems.

I dunno, I would've loved a kick function for missile glitchers/hydra glitchers/box of shamers ruining otherwise pleasant runs. Or for one guy who was being extremely loud and uncomfortably racist...though granted there's a mute function in this game.

I got kicked for being an a-hole. It wasn't deserved. I didn't know it was the lobby host's wife. Some men can be so insecure... GAWD!!! Did he think she was going to get Ray J'd over Kinect?

Not really I have been kicked from many a lobby in ME3MP even if I carried the lobby. I once carried a Gold lobby in ME3MP with a Volus Sentinel and got kicked for being "too good". I told him I wasn't that good and to take his scrub ass back to silver.
