WHY??? I'm playing a single player game. Why should I do so at the whim of the all mighty servers? Servers down, can't log in to play my SP game.
Is it for copy protection/security? tracking achievement? What? I think achievements are nice but totally not needed if I have to log in every time. Security, there has to be a better way. Logging in puts my nuts in the fire every time I do it.
In short this is my main beef with this game and others like it before. I love DAI over all though.
Main reason is DRM, but they also use it for achievements and the keep.
Expect most games to go to it going forward, it's not 100%, but it's one of the more effective DRMs...
Which is probably why a lot of PC players hate the game, they think they are entitled to steal it.
Yes, I'm a PC gamer too, even though PC gamers mostly embarrass me now by the way they act.
That's what I thought and I bet it started on the consoles...damn the consoles! (JK
