I have DAI on ps3, but bought a disc copy for pc as well yesterday.
Installed the game, started a rogue archer, and so far everything looked fine using
keyboard + mouse.
Until i switched to the tactical cam...
I don't want to belabor the points made against the tactical cam on the pc,
but there is one glaring flaw i found: there is no option to advance time on the k + m controls.
I looked at the keybindings, and nothing. If there is, i hope somebody can point it to me. I
might have just missed it.
Anyway, i exited the game, plugged in an xbox 360 controller, reloaded the game
and there is the option to advance time again. relief!
For the benefit of those who have not experienced the "advance time" feature
on the pc, the difference between having it and without is like night and day. I
cannot play without it, whether it be on the pc or ps3. For the way i like to play the
game, it is a wonderful feature. You do not like the boring combat in origins? speed
it up a bit frame by frame via the advance time; you find combat in da2 too fast? slow it
down to a speed of your choosing by pressing R2 on the controller.
The best thing i like about game of thrones rpg is the way time slows when you are in combat.
The one in DAI is even much better. I hope it gets fixed on the k + m, if it truly isn't there.
