Hey guys,

 

So I just got to the part where you meet hawke for the first time, playing as a voice 2 male character, and when I chose to customize Hawke's appearance I noticed my own characters voice changed from type 2 to type 1, which was very weird to say the least... I went into the next cinematic hoping the voice would revert itself but it was still type 1 (the english guy) so I decided to load my game and when I chose default appearance of Hawke I didn't lose the voice. I can imagine the game permanently changing the voice set to type 1 if you continue playing however.

 

I didn't test this thoroughly but just wanted to give you guys a heads up!

I have read about that glitch. It seems like the theory is that it is caused by the game creating an autosave just at the moment the scene starts. I don´t know, I haven´t had that glitch (PS4 version, and using default Hawke), the fix I have seen for people who has it is saving the game before speaking to Varric, then when the error happens, after the end of the conversation, reload your save and speak to Varric again, supposedly that time the game doesn´t autosave and the voice change doesn´t happen but as I say, I didn´t have that error so I don´t know.
