When Tali introduces herself to Udina, she mentions, that she lured some Geth to an uncharted world, where she disabled them.

The codex about Quarians just mentions, that they must be accepted by another crew to avoid inbreeding and to achieve this, they should have something of value to present to their new captain.

Now, how are they travelling? Did I miss a codex entry or is this mentioned elsewhere?
I can't imagine, that every young Quarian gets his own little ship after all that chatter of Tali about sparse ressources.

In the former BIO-ME-forum someone eplained, that Quarians often hire out as mineworkers. So the only thing I can imagine, that pilgrims are set off at a space station and from there they must make their own way.

Can someone offer deeper insight?

They probably have special drop-off shuttles piloted by fellow quarians, depositing them at a starting location before returning to the Flotilla.
