Hi there, 

 

I'm a ps3 gamer and i my current playthrough (casual difficulty; i see no incentive to play the higher difficulties) and I have a few q's:

 

1) Way of the Reaver help neded

 

Im handling a level 10 2H warrior and on my way to unlock the reaver class.

 

I already have 20 rashvines, 2/3 primers and I obtained the manual from "a party member".  I keep getting killed by the dragon in the something Fens area of Crestwood. I "get" that I'm not yet ready for the Northern HUnter dragon (only my inquisitor is level 10; the rest are at 9). So:

 

a.) do I have to kill the Northern Hunter for the last primer?

b.) is there an "easier" source for dragon's blood? is this really needed?

 

2) "Champions of the Just" bug

 

As per the sub topic; I've read that it bugs out on people causing a non-progression. For the PS3 version, is this also observed? just planning ahead for my next playthrough.

You don't have to kill the dragon. This is where you'll find the primers:

Dragonsblood can also be gotten from the smaller dragonlings. You don't really need to kill a big one for that. You can usually find some near the Hinterlands Frostback dragon.

Replying here, in the hope that somebody else has the same problem.

 

I got the book from (The) Iron Bull. If I go to the codex, I can look it up under history and see it filed under number 73. But when I read my journal, the bullet point "Acquire writing on Reaver methods" hasn't been checked or become grey ( And yes, the writings for Way of the Templar and Champion has both been marked as completed). I have not yet gotten the "Materials to infuse blood", but is anybody else experiencing this problem? Or is it even a problem at all?

 

And also, reloading is not an option - I have been playing several hours since getting the book.

 

Oh. You just have to craft it at the crafting table.

Yeah. At the requisition table. Tripped me up, too. Those quests are pretty unclear on what exactly you have to do.
