Heyas. I love the game as a whole, but the CC is making me really start to hate it. Here's why.

1 - The lighting. Seriously, it's green and dark in the CC. I heard the devs say the game uses a blend of different cutscene levels to make things more realistic, but the only dark and green areas I can think of are the prologue and the fade. Please make the lighting neutral white like most of the game. As an example. I make a female elf sorc. I get her hair color as black. I get her skin as a semi-healthy sort-of tan color. I set all her makeup to coal black with some gloss on the lipstick. Then I launch in game and... her hair is the color of old sewage slime, her makeup is a dark lime green, her lips are dark greem mirrors, and her skin looks like something out of a post apocalyptic vampire movie. I've made about 18 characters so far (Seriously, hence why I'm starting to really dislike the game) and I've made all of 1 character that worked out somewhat how I liked.

2 - Long hairstyles. Seriously, there are two 'long' hairstyles and one of them is with a half shaved head. I realize you need a few 'warrior girl' styles, but women need women's hair options, not men's.

3 - Absolute colors. To continue my previuous example about the hair, I had my char's hair set to coal black. No glint, no discernable color, just head-mounted darkness. But nope, turned out to be a dark and very disgusting green. White hair isn't actually white. It's more of a ratty blonde. White skin isn't white either, it's more of a creme color.

3 - Hair part 2 (The revenge!) More hair colors please! Preferably the color wheel so you can make seriously custom hair colors.

4 - Make sliders have more of an effect. I know anatomy (I'm an artist among other things, so I know faces) and either mmy elf had a well proportioned but stretched out face, or she's got a cute face... except for the huge chin. Her tattoos. There is no way to totally get rid of her tattoos. Yes, I know the Dalish have tattood faces but I've never been huge on the idea so I skip them when possible.

Obviously the CC can produce spectacular results. The 'show your char' thread is full of such results. But the inability to get realistic lighting, the lack of hair options, and the lack of color options on a few things is seriously driving me up a wall. I've spent about 60 hours or so playing the game. About 10 of that's been making chars over and over trying to make one the way I want and failing 95% of the time. I'm no fashionista, but some of the char's I've made that looped positively epic in the CC, the moment I got in game were absolutely hideous.

Please, fix the lighting, add more hair options for women, and add more color options.

Try this thread, if you're struggling with making a good looking Inquisitor.  I don't know if it will help you, but it's helped other folks.

Needs a lighting slider with several presets. It's the only way to predict how your char will actually look in game.
