Just wondering if anyone knows where to get the recipes to make new class armor or will it unlock when I get the mats?

If you're unlocking the class for the first time, then the basic class armor recipe will be the only one displayed.  If you've already got the basic class armor crafted, then you'll see the tier 2 armor and variants of the tier 1 (basic) armor recipes displayed.  Crafting tier 2 displays the variants for tier 2.  Unfortunately, there isn't currently armor higher than tier 2 that you can craft.

I only see recipe for the legionary..       I can't make any other class armor which is why I'm confused

I'm only familiar with the PC version, but when you enter the armor crafting menu, you should see a little red arrow next to where it says "Legionnaire" near the top of the UI (just underneath where it says "Armor Crafting").  Click that and it should cycle over to the next class' armor section.
