and reading Sera's journal post game suggests that she hooked up with Dagna.

What?  I need to log back on my first toon and check this out.

I found myself shipping Cass and Varric like UPS. They progress from mutual dislike to grudging respect to actual friendship during the game, and by the end it's clear that while they don't always agree, they like and trust each other. Her impatience and decisiveness counterbalance his indecision and waffling well, IMO. And Varric deserves a shot at happiness, which it doesn't seem Bianca will ever be able to provide, sadly.

Agreed.

Really? Goddammit, that's just cruel. How come Sera gets to romance an adorable dwarf when PC never can?

Wait what? Really?

It's referring to a scene where you catch her doing something (not that) and she gets really flustered about it. It's the best scene in the game.

Agreed.

I didn't interpret Sera's diary entry as her hooking up with Dagna. Just that Sera found someone fun. Perhaps they do hook up, but I don't think it's necessarily so.

Ah.  I like her entry about the Minstrel in the tavern "that song is creepy."

I can't even bring myself to take only Cassandra or only Varric in my party. It simply doesn't feel right if they aren't together :P

Cullen and Cassandra are also fond of each other. He truests her and she encourages him to be his best so, that is a possibility as well.

If only we got to play matchmaker with our companions. It would be hilarious.

Cassandra and Cullen would be adorably awkward together. And the man could go all out and serenade her. He certainly has the voice.

She does get flirty with Iron Bull, though she makes it clear that while she enjoys the flirting, nothing is ever going to happen between them, which suits Bull well enough.

Cassandra has a good enough reason if she doesn't get involved with anyone, she was involved with that mage from Dawn of the Seeker, he was killed at the conclave, another reason for her to be really angry afterwards.

As already mentioned Dorian and Bull get together, as well as Blackwall+Jossie and reading Sera's journal post game suggests that she hooked up with Dagna.

Damn, everyone gets some sexy times while my Quizzy is alone in her bed after her wolf ran away. It's quite strange for Josie and Blackwall to get together tho. I can't look past his crime.

Yah but look where she comes from, assassination and murders are the national pastime, even the royal family are involved in the crows.

Not in my game, I swear I've seen Leliana 'walking funny' one day after Bull mentioned he likes redheads >_>

Does the Blackwall/Josie thing continue after his lie is revealed?

Yeah, but she is the "innocent" type who despises violence/killing...

Most people that she's close with have "good" reasons to kill their enemies. Blackwall doesn't have one.

I believe so but Josie also clearly states nothing will become of it.   There was a word or phrase for it but I can't remember what it was.

They aren't in that kind of relationship. It is a special kind of relationship that occurs between two people who can't be together for whatever reason, like difference in station.

Josephine and Blackwall will become a couple if they are not romanced.

No they don't, it's just distant flirting. Nothing comes of it.

Cullen and Cassandra are also fond of each other. He truests her and she encourages him to be his best so, that is a possibility as well.

I never got this impression, if anything I don't think they're too fond of each other at all. They have a mutual respect for each others abilities though. People said the same thing about Josephine/Cullen but I also got the impression that he was very annoyed by her at times.

Cassandra standard for her man is bit too high, especially in her line of work.

Varric had Bianca as his Kryptonite, he too obsessed with her and cannot move on.

Both Cassandra and Varric are the same style of relationship between Avaline and I sabela, they not get along at first but come to understand each other in the end.

Wasn't sweet and naive Josie a Bard? I mean sure she doesn't like killing but I wouldn't be surprised in a DLC or a later title if we see a more violent less diplomatic side of Josephine. Remember the comments Varric made in the Hinterlands?

She has killed exactly one person in her life, and that was both on accident and while she wasdefending herself from him. Even then, she blames herself and uses that death as a basis for always seeking non-violent solutions to problems. She was designed as someone who wasn't a fighter.

What did Varric say?

The romance between Blackwall and Josie has far more overtones of courtly love than anything actually concrete. Affection shared, but never able to be acted upon. I do hope those two get their happy ending in a DLC, but as for the base game nothing comes from it. It's all distant affection and presents, with both parties knowing that's all it can be.

I'm inclined to think Josie/Blackwall won't happen. I don't see any reason to believe Josephine doesn't still get betrothed to Otranto if she isn't romanced, and with Blackwall's insecurities, I'd imagine he'd bow out of it with a warning to Otranto that should he ever harm Josephine, Blackwall will end him.
