No one using mic. Play COD or me3 & everyone has mic. What up with that?

On 360 or the One? I have noticed on 360 that quite a few people are micced, but mostly spitting static. I do have a mic, but keep it muted unless playing with friends or in PUGs if my Keeper's "over here" fails to alert the party to a treasue room they are blindly walking past. I found that the one time I tried to see if the party would hold back or be willing to halt their speed run to go open a treasure room, I was informed that since the match was only Routine, it didn't matter. I figure after that I'll let my Barrier and Revives do the talking for me. :)

Xbox one i use a mic. Over half of the random players do not use mic. I have been adding everyone with a mic to my friends. This game is much more fun with organized groups

I think many people are in party chat. Sometimes I join a random game with seemingly no one talking then I suddenly get a chat invite.

My girlfriend and I always use mics when we play on the X1. Add me, CraneBanos, we're usually on together. She prefers her Necro and I am pretty versatile, love my Elementalist though ^^.

I am an offender in this regard, one problem for me is that the design of the mic attachment changes the feel of the controller for the xbox one.  I normaly keep it unplugged but will plug in if there is a reasonably communicative group.  There is the odd game where one wishes mics were not used.  One game yesterday two pals were talking non stop about anything but the game and their play showed it, we wiped on about wave 3.

My Xbox One will act up and not let me talk in game most of them time but on top of that, most of the time I am in a party playing with at least other person anyways. That's a chore on the One as well. I don't suggest anyone buy the One, I mainly did it for DAI and it was a mistake, don't do it, it's trash.

I have not seen a game with this many mic users in years. You sir are just very unlucky.

I've played six games this morning & I was the only 1 to speak. That was to tell slowpoke to ready up.

It's a result of how the xbox community has interacted over the years.

I use a mic to see if anyone is using one. If not I mute mine. I do use party chat usually because it helps.
I have 360

I'll use a mic if I hear others on, but not if no one else has a mic. I'll get guys with mic's every 3-4 matches I do with PUGs on 360.

most of the time all i hear is people screaming at their moms or cussing out a sibling. i will plug  mine in occasionally but on the first two difficulties it isn't really needed anyway.
